It seems to get a little warm under use so Im guessing that it is probably only 18-gauge although it should be 16-gauge or better. The size wasnt listed in the description and it should be as that is one of the main features necessary for proper placement and use. I blame myself for not verifying such. Short extension cabling should always be ensured safe and over-engineered...not to say this isnt but it would help being properly informed.

Its a wire, it carries electrons... What more can I say about it.. Its very white and pretty thin... Wouldnt want to put any big loads on it...

Recently set up my old HD TV in my bedroom to finally watch something while trying to fall asleep and this extension cord is exactly what I needed since my room is too small to be able to move stuff around more easily. Thanks to the extension cord, I was able to conveniently set up my tv near the foot of my bed since I have poor vision. The tv cable connected perfectly into the extension. This product works as intended. Needed to extend to lightly used power strips and these were perfect. These prevented me from having to use unnecessarily long extension cords.

I do not know why I ever lived without these. I have never been able to adequately use all the plugs on my surge suppressors in the past because of all the large and oddly shaped plugs that come with electrical devices these days. These solve all my problems and will solve yours too. They fit perfectly, cleanly, and only take the space the hole in the surge protector intended allowing me to plug in all my devices in one large surge protector. Surge protectors are expensive, especially if you buy one that has a high joules rating for expensive equipment like computers, scanners, printers, etc. These extension cords will save you much more money in the long run than the cost to purchase. I did receive these at a discount for an honest review.
