TOAKS Titanium Long Handle Spork with Polished Bowl
-
Outdoor Guy
> 3 dayGreat camping tool for all eating duties! If I had it to do over I would get the spoon and not the spork, but it worked very well. Long handle is a must. Cleans easy in the field. Get one before you go into the wild.

> 3 dayThis will be my second time being the first person to review a TOAKS product and I must say that it is an honor. This titanium spork is just like the TOAKS long handle spoon. If fact, its identical except there are smooth grooves carved into the top of the bowl to make the spork teeth. Also identical to the Optimus titanium long handle spoon except, again, this is a spork. Its perfect for getting in to those dehydrated meal packs. Perfect for tall cooking pots like the JetBoil. Works great for just plain cooking too! The long handle and strong titanium is great for stirring together a huge pan of breakfast sausages, eggs, potatoes or whatever you want to cook. The polished bowel is easy to clean and glides in/out of your mouth smoothly. 2 Thumbs Up!

> 3 dayIt’s a TOAKS. It does what it’s supposed to do. Very durable, lightweight, and the polished end is easy to clean.

Greater than one weekI’ve had several other “travel” or “hiking” utensils and I have thrown them all out now. The plastic ones, no matter the brand, bend when warm and are not made for camp cooking. I bought 4 of these for the family to keep in our hiking/emergency backpacks. Then I had to buy 2 more because the wife stole them to take with her work lunch! These truly are a great utensil! Very strong, lightweight, and super easy to clean. The long handles are great for camp cooking and, for my wife, great for work lunches. Actually, I use it at work now too! You cannot go wrong with these.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite spork. My daughter favors the titanium light my fire sporks and uses them at home more often than regular silverware, but I prefer the long handles of these. I like them for getting into the bottom of deep MRE and mountain house pouches without getting food slop all over my hands. Very lightweight and durable they come with an orange pouch to keep them clean in your pack.

> 3 dayThese are perfect, strong and lightweight, long enough to reach into the freeze dried meal bags, the smooth spoon end is a much nicer texture on your mouth than the rough kinds. Great gifts!

Greater than one weekYou would think titanium would be strong but this spork is super flimsy and unpolished where it counts--where your fingers touch it. Its about the right length, although an inch longer would be nice (thats what she said). The bowl part of the spoon is polished which makes you wonder, why not polish the rest? If it was polished, it would be much easier to clean and wouldnt dig in on the edges. Makes me think going to a stainless steel spork might be worth the extra 1/2 oz in weight.
