The TomToc sling is attractive, durable, and comfortable to wear. Its big enough to carry a water bottle, umbrella, lightweight jacket, tablet, and other essentials. But its not too big or too heavy. The price seems fair for what you get. I will use it for touring while on vacation.

Nowadays, you need a sling or a backpack to take wherever you go. Thanks to skinny jeans! I was looking for a sling that wasn’t about fashion, but more about functionality. And this hit the spot it has all the pockets for all the gadgets, good quality and a decent price. Not big & bulky/pretty & useless, it’s just right!

PROS: 1. Durable material and high quality YKK zippers. 2. The perfect amount of pockets and sleeves (not too many and not too little). 3. An excellent value for what youre paying. 4. Super comfortable to wear. CONS: 1. I wish the padded strap part was a bit shorter, its too long and bulky making it hard to fold and tuck away when bag is not worn. 2. I also wish the loose strap end had a better buckle system that kept it in place. I found myself having to readjust the strap every time I wore it. 3. The overall size is a little too big for just an iPad/tablet bag. I dont understand why they couldnt have made it just half an inch longer in height to fit a 13 MacBook. Or a couple of inches shorter to perfectly fit an 11 iPad without all the extra empty space.

I bought the 7L Tomtoc, I was not impressed. The materials seem too light to hold up over the long haul. The padding on the strap is super light or just completely lacking. The kinda hidden pocket on the back sticks way out and is awkward. This makes the back of the sling unbalanced. My 9.7 iPad with case was tight (with Otterbox case). It did fit a 32oz water bottle on the interior. I paid $45 ish for this sling. I do not think it is worth that. I would rather pay more for a sling that is higher quality. Im returning mine.

This is a fantastic bag for when a smaller purse sized bag is too small but a backpack may be too much for your needs. I can fit up to a 13” MacBook Pro easily, along with accessories, chargers, and every day items. I carried this as my main bag every day for a trip in Toronto where I was out in the city all day, and it was perfect. It held my Sony a6000 with a prime lens attached, a water bottle, umbrella, and a great variety of personal items. It prevented snow and sleet from getting my stuff wet, and was light enough that I barely noticed it. I strongly recommend this bag for trips and travel.

Really impressed with the look, design, utility and generally smart look of this handy gym back. Would be better if it we … 10-15% bigger. It’s just a little bit too small. Otherwise … very nice.

This brand’s entire collection is so well-made. I will be buying more. What a great backpack for my everyday commute.

So I first tried the small Tomtoc sling. Too small! I loved the bag, but I carry a lot of crap around everyday. I wasnt a fan of the larger 7 and 9 liter sling. Decided to try this bag and it seems to meet my needs. It fits my Samsung Tab 7,a Fuji X-Pro 2, 2 extra lenses, batteries, a water bottle, my phone, BT earbuds, and a tool kit. Like I said, I carry a lot of crap. Im a pretty big dude and it fits well on me. Im over 6ft, about 300lbs so some bags are too small in me. The strap has plenty of slack and I love being able to choose having it over either my left or right shoulder. I really like the two loops on the sides of the bag, giving me something to help swing it around. I also have a carabiner clipped on one side in case I want to hang my water bottle or anything else from the bag. The tablet sits in a suspended pouch inside the bag so if I drop the bag, the tablet wont be damaged. I do have a couple of nitpicks - The zippered pocket on the front only opens correctly if you sling the bag over your right shoulder. Otherwise, the pocket is facing down and things will fall out if you arent paying attention. And the hidden pocket on the back of the bag is small so I dont use it. Other than that, I love this bag. Its going to California on my next trip and well see how it fairs.
