> 3 dayTL;DR: Nice padding for a laptop bag and feels durable, but no padding on the top (zippered) side and no strap for the ipad pocket. If this bag takes a header onto a hard surface, your electronics have little protection. I’ve been using this bag daily for 2 months now. It’s generally a pretty nice bag, the strap anchors are solidly stitched, and there’s enough space in the main compartment for my computer, a half inch binder, and a few class books. The zippers all work great and the outer material feels durable. The outermost pocket is a very thin, I’m not actually sure what is intended for that pocket, it’s a bit shorter in depth than my size large woman’s hand and thin enough that my mechanical pencils fit fairly snug and don’t fall out even if I don’t zip the pocket. I use it to hold pencils and pens, but something thicker like a mouse would likely bulge badly and may not zip. The side zip is sometimes a bit awkward also. The second compartment has pockets on the outer side and a strap on the inner side, both split into three. Again, this pocket is not very thick, I ended up choosing to use either the pocket or the strap, not both, because the pocket wasn’t thick enough to fill both without causing bulging and zipper problems. The compartment is tall enough to hold a sideways standard 8x11” notebook (though not thick enough to zip around a notebook and electronic supplies simultaneously), but is too short for a three ring binder. The main compartment is well padded on 5 out of 6 sides. The laptop pocket has a nice strap and has bubbled padding all around the edges. The velcro for the strap feels secure, but is located in such a way that I have to move the other stuff in the compartment in order to get the strap in place, which is a minor annoyance. The ipad pocket is padded, but has no strap on it, so in case of a fall, the ipad could get jolted around. I find that my workbook fits in that pocket perfectly instead. The padding all around feels thick and bouncy and protective, but there is zero protection on the top of the bag. There’s actually a perfect spot to slide in a line of padding between the outer fabric and the lining on top, but instead the space remains empty. Should this bag take a header spill, you can only hope the padded sides fold inward on impact to protect your electronics, because otherwise they’ll hit the ground unprotected. Seems like it would be an easy fix to make when manufacturing these to give it 360 degree protection. The laptop strap may give the laptop some protection, but an ipad in the pocket would just slide out and crack against the ground.

> 3 dayThe bag is too big and loose, Laptop dances inside the bag, and looks like cabin baggage. Doesn’t give that official look or feel but looks like bag for clothes. Very disappointed by its looks in reality. The pictures are deceiving, don’t fall for how it looks in pics.

> 3 dayI am able to fit my laptop and my tablet, but thats it! Not much space for anything else. My chargers barely fit, and thats me pushing them tight inside to be able to zip the bag.

> 3 dayThis bag looked great from the pictures and reviews, and it does not disappoint. This thing is awesome! Its not too big, not too small, the fabric feels durable and looks good, the zippers are smooth and dont feel cheap. There is a generous amount of padding around the laptop sleeve area. In my bag Ive got a Dell XPS 13 9380, a bluetooth speaker, wireless mouse, mouse pad, 22,100 mAh battery bank, 3-4 usb cables, a usb c dongle, a wall charger, and a hdmi cable. Everything has its place and feels secure. Im really liking this setup!

> 3 dayThis is a really amazing bag, especially considering the price. It fits my M1 MacBook Air, iPad Pro 11, 2 in 1 Baseus 10000mAh power bank, NVMe enclosure, and two 10 USB C cables with some room to spare. Stays slim, no wasted space. Seems to be great quality, just like the other Tomtoc bags. Lots of padding in the laptop compartment. I really like the elastic straps to keep accessories in place.

> 3 dayPros Plenty of padding to protect my laptop. There is space in the front compartment to store your power cord and charging brick. In the main compartment there is space for a 13-14 laptop on one side, space for an iPad on the opposite side. There is even space documents or a few small books in the center. Cons The shoulder strap is secured with plastic clips. So far there has been no problems, but only time will tell.

Greater than one weekIve used many other brands over the years. This one, by far, is my favorite. The material is of great quality, the color pattern combo are beautiful, zippers slide smoothly and securely, significantly reinforced in essential areas, fits our 2019 MacBook Pro 13-Inch (with Touch Bar) like a glove. Not too snug, not too loose, just perfect. Has plenty of pouches to fit all of our accessories. Even once all of our things are packed inside, the bag doesnt appear bulky or bursting at the seams. tomtoc has done an amazing job with this bag! I can say with pure honesty, we have found no cons to this bag. Hope this review helps! Best of luck!

> 3 dayI love this bag. As laptop messenger bags go, this is the best one I have ever seen. It’s simple, functional design is flawless. It’s elegant but not flashy. Minimal but not boring. This is a humble bag that doesn’t need to make a statement. It’s sneaky good. It’s materials and construction are perfect. The shock absorbers seem great. It’s got the right amount of padding in the right places and otherwise it’s slim and smooth. The front pocket has an elastic band segmented into 3 storage sections. Opposite these in the flap are 3 slim pockets. I really like the detachable shoulder strap. And the strap anchor points are made of the material of the bag. Not plastic. It’s so many subtle details like this that make this bag a gem. For 2 weeks I’ve been trying to find something I don’t like about this bag. There is nothing. One weird thing is that the big pocket has double zipper heads. The side pocket does not. That’s probably the only thing I would change. But it isn’t a problem. I don’t use it for a laptop although it would work well for that. I use it for my Bible and personal effects on Sunday. The smaller size fit everything I needed it to. But I exchanged it for the large size because I also use the bag as a makeshift lap desk for taking notes. The larger size fits more comfortably on my lap. I think this bag was about $40 and it was worth every penny. Considering all I have mentioned, it’s a great price and great value.
