Certified everyday backpack. Ive been really impressed by this backpacks materials and use of space and compartments (No Sunglasses Storage). The bag really does feel like its made to last and they really thought out this backpacks storage compartments. As a Network Engineer I have a lot of shit in my bag. 2 Laptops. tools/drills. Food. Cables. Glasses. Water bottles. Chargers. Etc This bag holds it all while looking sleek and it have validated it keeps my tech try walking through the city in the rain. Also the logos can be removed with some low non direct great from an iron

I have a peak design bag that is awesome for camera gear but not so much for anything else. Came across this bag and ordered on a whim. This bag is perfect. I can carry my MacBook, iPad 12.9, switch, kindle, extra work clothes, books for work and still have room to comfortably carry more. Has plenty of room without being too large. Highly recommended.

The thing that separates this bag from the crowd is definitely the style that you notice from far away. I work in tech - this is a sweet bag that techies love. It has all the compartments that all the other bags have... so I wont mention all of them because - we all know there are tons of bags out there with gazillions of compartments. Ill just mention the features that set this bag apart from the rest. > Cordura. The materials throughout the entire bag are excellent. You move from Cordura -which looks super sleek and high tech, to what feels like neoprene (not sure exactly what it is) for the pockets on the side, and what feel like high grade... rubber type material for zippers. The zippers look and feel cool. > Weather resistant. I live in Seattle and it rains here for many, many, many months out of the year. This bag looks fantastic while your walking, and also resists the rain very well. > Great warranty and the company makes it super simple. Instead of going through the normal jumping through hoops - there is a tag attached to the bag with a barcode for you to scan to activate your coverage. I really appreciated this and it shows good customer service. They believe in their product and arent afraid to back it. OVERALL - the mix of fabrics this bag is made of is awesome. Its super sleek, and looks super sleek from far away. The straps are comfortable to wear on your back and everything is well made, high quality. I pinched and pulled at the Cordura to see how strong it was, and it is very well made - no issues at all. The bag comes fully loaded with lots of compartments, but its a head turner for its looks and style. You will love this if you like sleek looking, high tech stuff.

The best backpack I have purchased! Only issue I have is the price but overall, the quality and durability are the best.

Great backpack, feels durable, lots of space, and comfortable to wear. I only wish that it had more smaller zippered interior pockets and that the grab handle wasnt this plastic material. It has a lot of open interior pockets, but I wish they were separated with zippers. The grab handle feels nice, but Im afraid it could be the first part to break in the future.

TLDR: This is a very good, well-made - and good looking - pack, with lots of compartments for different items, good water resistance, good padding around the laptop, and still in a rather small & light package. Would make a very good business / travel pack but for school or regular use need to really consider how youll load it. The good: Cordura ballistic nylon, taped seams, and a repellent front section mean this bag will give you no worries in light rain. All construction is tight and high quality -- no concerns there with one possible exception for the top handle (see below). There are four (yes 4) compartments. All are full length (which is a bit of a shame, see below) so you have lots of options for separately packing flattish stuff of various types. I like this for a travel bag laid out as follows: Front compartment - travel stuff (book/kindle, snacks, headphones, etc), 2nd compartment - spare clothes packed flat with a 1/2 length pouch (in the top section) for toiletries and the like, 3rd compartment - business folders/papers and a couple of 1/2 length pockets (bottom section) for chargers, cables, batteries, etc. and finally the back (4th) compartment holds the laptop. On the outside are two thin, water bottle pockets. All that and I didnt even mention a couple of extra organizational dividers in various places. So yea, if youre a flat packer, this bag has lots of options and it works very well. Recommended. The not so good: That top handle: They went with a plastic band -- god knows why? Perhaps they thought it looked sleeker or something? The band is not comfortable when the bag is fully loaded and Im worried how well the plastic will hold up under heavy use. But few carry a pack by the top handle much so this is probably a minor concern for most people. All those compartments are full length. This feeds the universal problem with most all backpacks: Everything falls to the bottom. So unless youre putting in things that are long & flat, youre not going to get full use out of the compartments because the contents will just fall toward the bottom and stack making for a very awkward load. They put in a couple sets of 1/2 pockets but only 1 is at the top to help alleviate this problem. Its a real shame as they missed an opportunity here. Most bag designers dont want to build in this much structure because it makes the empty bag heavy and thick before you even start using it. But Tomtoc has done a really great job (truly one of the best Ive seen) of building in multiple compartments without the bag feeling overdone. But they should have staggered one of the pockets to make it a half length from the top. This allows you to load items at the top of the bag and get better load distribution. Dont get me wrong: Its a very nice bag and very useful. I like it a lot. If you are usually packing things youre not worried about falling to the bottom (books, folders, tablet), youll probably really like this bag. Definitely recommended in that case. But I cant give it a full recommendation because most people do have this problem and, at least for me, the multiple pockets kind of make it worse. Ive rated the bag 5 stars because if it fits you, I expect youll like it a lot. And the price is definitely right for this level of construction. But make sure you like the layout (its tough to photograph but hopefully the pictures give you a good idea) or you wont rate it 5 stars. Other nits: A couple of the zippers go down into the water bottle pocket area making them difficult to work when the bag is loaded and bottles are in the pockets. The straps are a little plain and padding is average. I assume this was to keep the sleek look so if you like that, you wont have any issue with the straps.
