Greater than one weekSuper impressed! Excellent quality, very nice padding without being too bulky. Nice zippers too. Would’ve spent a lot more but wanted to give this a try because I like the simple clean design. Keeps a super expensive 16” MacBook Pro safe and secure. Buy it.

> 3 daylove the bag but two suggestions...have it able to be worn with the strap length wise and have two handles for better hand carry or make the handle thicker best thing is that you can still use a hard case (intouch) and it still fits well

Greater than one weekI acquired this tomtoc Premium sleeve for use with my 2017 12 MacBook and my preferred working accessories, currently consisting of the OEM 30w power brick, a Magic Mouse 2, EarPods, a 3rd-party USB-C hub w/Ethernet, and a small variety of USB cables. It replaced the tomtoc basic sleeve ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HCF0VRC/ ) that I had bought earlier and returned a couple of days after receipt. It needs to be mentioned that the tomtoc basic sleeve that I returned is well-constructed and a great value. Its protective-but-slim-profile would be ideal for a student to slip into a non-laptop-specific book-bag, sandwiched between their load of binders and textbooks. In this use-case, accessories would reside elsewhere in the book-bag. But Im not a student, and havent carried a book-bag in decades. What *I* actually do is to pack my laptop and its accessories into one container/bag/sleeve to place into a carry-on personal-item-bag. Or place into a large road-trip duffel. Or just hand-carry into work/cafe/somewhere. In short, in the absence of an over-bag equipped with a padded, specific provision for a laptop (for which I would then opt for a stylish, minimalist leather sleeve)... I would prefer my accessories to be contained with the laptop in a single unit. This tomtoc Premium sleeve fulfills the role. The primary difference between the tomtoc basic sleeve and the Premium sleeve is the construction of its accessory pocket. The one on the basic sleeve is simply another piece of fabric over the face of the sleeve. Flat item(s) that are hard to damage (eg. a paper notepad) will do well in it. However, items with more depth than that (eg. the OEM power brick) will tent the pocket and press into the side of the laptop through the padding. At the same time, the outside face of the accessory pocket is unpadded, providing little protection to the accessories within. OTOH, the Premium sleeve is constructed with a more fully-furnished accessory pocket. Its built with more vertical space to better accommodate non-flat accessories, is segregated into a few stretch and zippered compartments, and padded... not as much as the main laptop pocket, but padded nevertheless. The tomtoc basic sleeve is truly that: a sleeve for just the laptop. The tomtoc Premium sleeve is more of full-featured system carrier. As said before, the tomtoc basic sleeve is a terrific value for the money. Aside from the more-intricate construction, the tomtoc Premium sleeve tries to justify its price with better materials (Cordura). That said, it does not quite approach the value of the basic sleeve at twice the price. But thats okay... its still very affordable, esp. relative to the equipment its containing/protecting. Nitpick: the only colorway available for the 2017 12 Macbook is Sage Green. This is actually gray with a tinge of green, with pastel turquoise accents. This is honestly an odd color choice. If you were to produce only one colorway for a product, black is always the best choice for not clashing with anything else the consumer wishes to use the product with.

> 3 dayI was looking for a well-padded case that would have enough room for my work laptop, charger, mouse, and cell phone. The price of this case was a little more than I had hoped to spend (and my job didn’t cover it... smh thanks job lol), but the quality is worth it. It’s very well made with lots of padding, so I know my devices will be safe. This also had the extra storage space I needed. It’s an easy grab and go to put this in whatever purse or messenger bag I’m using for the day.

> 3 dayI bought this bag to carry at a two day conference instead of my larger backpack. It held my MacBook Pro M1 and my iPad Pro perfectly. I added some business cards and was good to go. On day two, one of the metal gates on the clasp of the strap broke - rendering the bag pointless for my purposes. The bag seems nice enough but the strap and its materials definitely need to be more durable than they are.

> 3 dayThis sleeve is tough, protective, convenient, and an excellent value. I feel confident carrying the laptop (16”) around in this day to day. Would definitely recommend If you’re looking for this sort of thing.

20-11-2024Bought this to put my 16” MacBook Pro in, wouldn’t even work. The listing clearly says for 16” M1 Pro computer. Just want to let other owners know, that this case is too small.

> 3 dayIt is good stuff, but not great value for money, as I paid twice as much if compared to their regular cases, but I dont see reason why it should cost more. It is not that much better if compared to other models from the same company (some of my friends have other models from tomtoc). Also, theres no such a thing as the extra corner protection mentioned in the description. The corners are as reinforced as the rest of the case.
