The build quality on this bag is great! It’s got padding in all the right places as well as soft plush material to keep your screen from getting scratched when you insert and remove the device. The bag looks slim but don’t let that deceive you. It can expand to accommodate a plethora of electronics gear. I can easily carry my steam deck, charging brick, power bank, Bluetooth foldable keyboard and still have room for 5-6 more pieces of tech. I honestly can’t find a con in this bag as of yet. Of course I wish it could be a tad bit cheaper as I did pay for this with my own money. However my GF said that the bag is premium in her opinion and you end up paying a premium when you want premium and that’s exactly what I got. No regrets!

I have a Tomtoc sling bag that I carry every day so when I saw that they made one specifically for the Stem Deck It was a no brainer for me. Tomtoc quality of materials and attention to detail is second to none. This fits my deck, folding keyboard, mouse, usbC hub, power supply, memory card case and my spare 65w power bank. All in one easy to carry protective case. And it looks good too.

Great for steam deck on the go!!

The pictures that they present on Amazon are misleading and here is why. The pictures presented show all this stuff in the same pocket as the steam deck and yes it will close but you will not really have access to use the outside pocket for anything more than cords because it wouldnt fit without pressing everything inside the bag against the deck padding. If you have joy stick cover or a case the bag is a decently tight fit and if your case is bulky it may not fit. The case is well made though and is holding up well. If you dont have any larger or alot of accessories this case would be good for you as it does protect from pressing on the joysticks.

As others have said, this is the perfect bag for the Steam Deck. It fits my Anker 737 Power Bank, iPad Mini 6, my Micro SD card case and several USB cables. The bag doesnt feel stuffed with these items all in the bag. I was able to fit my Switch OLED with the controllers detached, but at that point the bag did start to feel like it was a bit much. It will certainly fit the Steam Deck charger, which you could use to charge the power bank as well between uses.

The carry bag does a good job of carrying all I need on the road but the protection is not as high as I would like and the W shape flexes and slides around a lot, pushing the right joystick for constantly. Every time I would unzip I would see the W had shifted and the right stick was pushed all the way to the right and mashed. This idea is great but the W protector needs to be rigid. Overall the materials are great, the storage capacity is good, the idea is fantastic... but the implementation is lacking.

Some people might find the W divider a bit awkward to work with, but thats the price we pay to protect the Steam Deck joysticks in transit. In addition to the Steam Deck, I can fit my large Anker 30K MAH PD external battery in the case. Along with the Steam Deck charger that came with it, an extra Samsung USB-C PD wall plug, 3 Type-C cables, and my Rii +8 keyboard. Theres some room to spare for a SD card holder, and you can put whatever else you need in the front pocket. I put the battery, wall plug, and keyboard in the main compartment with the Deck. I put the cords in the front zippered pocket. This case has a carrying handle, and a shoulder strap. Unfortunately the shoulder strap cannot be adjusted enough to have the case sit on my waist. Im 200 pounds, but still too skinny for that. If youre a good 5-6 inches thicker, you can probably use this as a waist pack.

It fits the Steam Deck with the killswitch case on without the kickstand attached however it is still a pretty snug fit and at least in my experience the sticks almost touch part of the M shaped protection cutout which worries me that if they ever do end up touching and getting enough pressure it could lead to some stick drift. This is in my opinion at the time of writing the best case on the market if you want to keep your killswitch case on 24/7 and dont want to buy and use the hard plastic cover from dbrand.

The Tomtoc bag is fantastic in almost every way. The materials are premium, the zippers work good, and the bag feels like it will last a long time. I find the bag works best if you can keep your things to a minimum. These are the items I carry and use in it: Steam Deck with Benazcap kickstand case, a Rii i4 mini Bluetooth keyboard, Ravpower Ultra slim 45w pd charger, Anker 6ft nylon USB C to USB C cable, Sony wired earbuds, a Moko folding cell phone stand, and a cleaning cloth. I find this setup keeps the bag light and manageable. I think the cross body strap works great, and while the padding is minimal, its plenty adequate if you arent overloading the bag. For the negatives, I think the divider could have been designed better to allow less wasted space in a already small bag. Second, the hold down strap for the Steam Deck always flops forward, and in the way of putting the Steam Deck in. Im probably going to sew a couple small pieces of Velcro to the hold down strap to keep it out of the way. There is space enough to hold other items, such as a power bank and maybe a controller (depending on their sizes) if needed. All in all, I like this bag. Its exactly what I wanted in a bag, its small, lightweight, and like all Tomtoc products, premium quality!

Perfect bag for my needs. Protects the Deck well with plenty of room for accessories. Fits an 8BitDo controller, USB-C dock, folding BT keyboard, Sony XM4 headphones, power bank, wall charger, and cables. Could probably squeeze in another small controller and additional cables.
