Being a long-time fan of Tomtoc and having purchased numerous other cases for the original Nintendo Switch as well as the Switch Lite, I was elated to discover they would also be releasing a case for the OLED. Unfortunately, their design on the OLED model failed. The case is visibly thinner and barely has enough room to zip closed. You can feel the zipper scraping along the OLED because it’s too tight of a fit. The button and joystick cutouts are also misaligned and depress the buttons/joysticks upon zipping the case, no matter how many times I tried to reposition the OLED. I have no protective shell on the OLED that would prevent it from sitting in the case correctly. Figuring I had a defective case I placed another order and the second case arrived just the same as the first, with all the same issues. I’m beyond frustrated and disappointed because this company has always produced great accessories but this one seems to have quality control and poor design issues. My advice: skip this one, you’ll end up returning it for damaging your OLED.

As soon as I was able to get an OLED Switch, I knew this would be the next purchase. I have used a Tomtoc slim case on my standard Switch for several years now and was deliriously happy with its protection and light weight. The OLED version of that same case is predictably excellent; I bring it with me on my train commute often now with peace of mind (and several cartridges tucked into the elastic slot). I can also sneak in a USB-C charging cable! Highly recommended.

The quality and color are incredible!!!

I was searching for a case that’ll help me carry around my Nintendo switch with its skull and co case on. This does this perfectly ! The padding inside the case is very soft so I’m not even worried to get my screen scratched off. The design and zipper on this case are top notch and scream premium. I live the stitching and overall how well they made this carrying case

I bought this Tomtoc case along with a similar product from Fintie to see which one I liked better. Unfortunately both of these suffer from the same issues. 1. The case does not have a snug fit, so the device slides around just a little even when the case is closed, which leads into the more serious issue... 2. As you can see the case has indentations where the joysticks are supposed to go, however, the joystick slots in the case are slightly wider than the locations of the actual joysticks. This means that only one joystick can be protected at a time and the other joystick will be under pressure from the case. Not good. The case is made from good material, and looks great, but considering that it is supposed to be a form-fitted mold of the Nintendo Switch, the sizing is completely wrong. Too bad, could have been perfect. I plan to return these. I will stick with these same brands, but try a larger case that provides adequate protection for the joysticks.

I got the cherry blossom color. It’s a very cute light green to pink ombré. It fits ten game cards, and fits my animal crossing switch which has a protective case. No space to put any charging cables, but that’s fine as I just wanted a clear eying case for the switch.

its so tiny and thin, i love it

I recently got a Switch and needed a nice case. I love that this one matches my white OLED Switch and isnt too big, but stays protective of my new device. Theres a small flap inside that folds down over the screen, which is nice. You can also slide your different game cards on the other side of the flap. Overall, Im super happy with it!

I was in a store FaceTiming with my grandson as he helped me pick out a Switch case. In the background my daughter texted me “don’t buy it there!”. So I didn’t and I called her. She’s a Switch pro. She said I have to buy a Tomtoc, they’re the best cases out there. And it’s perfect. I like that it’s a padded hard case with indents for the buttons and joysticks. It also can hold 10 game cartridges. Lastly I like that it’s pretty much a plain looking black case, I don’t need to advertise the fact I’m carrying a Switch while I’m on the subway.

Very impressed by the quality. Fit and finish is excellent. Avoid the white if you dont want to make sure your hands are washed each time you pick it up, although its arguably the prettier finish.
