> 3 dayI do a lot of appliqué. I compared Tim Holz scIssors line to Karen Kay Buckley’s, and ordered the set. Saved a few dollars on Tim’s, and they work exactly like Karen’s. We did a side by side comparison with a friends and believe they are made by the same manufacturer, but found these differences: Lengths are slightly different (minimal difference that doesn’t affect use), the handle color (Karen’s are brighter), and price (Tim’s cost less!). Unless you have to have Karen’s name and colors, I’d recommend these.

> 3 dayI love the feel of these scissors. I cut through some sticky back velcro and they just breezed through it. I tried cutting the same velcro with another well respected scissor brand and they got stuck on the sticky adhesive. I also love that you can feel the serrated edge as you open and close them. You can feel the quality. These will be my go to trimmers from now on.

> 3 dayThese scissors have a serrated blade. It makes them hard to get used to cutting with because they dont glide through paper like regular scissors. They grab and snag when you move forward unless you open then conpletely and pay attention with each cut! They also leave tiny serration marks on the edges of the paper! I show that in the photo along with a 1 inch scaled mat underneath for size reference. I just got these today but I dont think I will use them much because they are too complicated for fussy cutting which is what I bought them for.

> 3 dayThese cut almost everything! Paper, ribbons, plastic, cardboard, chipboard, even thin gauge wire. Large handle loops dont fatigue your hands. These are a must in any crafters toolbox.
