> 24 hourWe have a large flat screen TV in our work conference room in the corner. Unfortunately, there was no easy way to connect to it other than with a long cable that was a trip hazard anytime we had to use it. We had a visitor one day that had to bring their own cable because our died. That was quite embarrassing. I tried this on my own monitor to see how it works. It was super easy. Powered up the unit, plugged the devices into the monitor and the laptop. Bam - instant remote, wireless projection. Tried it on our conference room TV. The setup was just as easy. Plug the receiver into the TV, plug the transmitter into the laptop, now there is wireless projection. Have since tried it several times on different occasions. Has always worked on the first try. Great wireless projector setup.

> 24 hourI wanted to use it for gaming. A lot of lag. Not a great product for my purposes. Not sure if the same result would happen for applications like Microsoft word but definitely not good for streaming video or games

> 24 hourThis is a pretty simple device intended to do one function: to stream HDMI output from point A the transmitter to Point B the receiver. Theres plenty of use cases where this would be important and this device does the job, does it well, and couldnt be easier to set up. You can transfer the data up to just under 100 feet (98 feet to be precise) and that should cover most applications. You can even use an HDMI converter to use it with non-HDMI devices though you wont get as good of a performance this way. It pretty much just works--plug in the transmitter and receiver and theyll pair automatically and youre ready to roll some video. Very simple and very functional. Highly recommended!

> 24 hourI periodically do trainings and I like to be away from the huge monitor mounted on the wall, and sometimes even talk from the back of the room. I don’t like running long cables or being tethered to the monitor, especially if it’s an event type venue and you have a trip hazard and have to put gaff tape on everything. A secondary application is at home. Often I have my computer running in my home office but after a long day, I want to relocate to another part of my home that is more comfortable. I can very easily take my wireless mouse and keyboard and simply go to another room where I have a monitor set up. And occasionally, I will have all my video and streaming stuff hooked up to one TV and want to finish a movie or something in the kitchen or even on the patio. This is an easy way to make that happen. I wouldn’t call myself a power user and I am not pushing this thing to its spec limits for the signal. I’m not doing 4k or gaming. The listing notes that this is good for about 98 feet which is less distance than some comparable devices out there on the market. I am never in a place where I would need that kind of range. Rarely am I going more than about 50 feet away from transmitter to receiver and the signal easily worked from one room to another through walls in the same building. I didn’t sense any interference between these and other electronics and I didn’t notice any lag in the signal as I got further away or with all the other electronics used in the area. Your experience may differ from mine and you may experience some lag or stutter if you are trying to push more data through them, have content with heavy resolution, or have obstacles between the receiver and transmitter. For my purposes, they functioned well. The pair were easy to set up and were unobtrusive once in place. The build quality was nice and compared to other options, I feel like these are fairly compact. Neither unit got hot during use.
