I get so many compliments when I use this umbrella. The black trim has little polka dots. Owned this umbrella for a year and still working. I love that it has a clip down by the handle (see pic). This ensures it doesn’t slide back open even if I don’t use the snap enclosure. Sometimes I come in out of the rain at my job and it’s busy at the entrance. I can just close the umbrella and keep moving . I don’t need to stop and wrap the enclosure around and snap it to ensure it doesn’t slide open. This way I don’t keep people standing out in rain waiting for me to get out of their way. I’m happy with this purchase.

I got the red and black - and found that there were little white polka dots. Loved it! These are pretty heavy duty - much more than decorative. They are different - but will hold up in wine and rain. They are fabric umbrellas with metal supports. The latch is plastic however. So be aware of that. But otherwise, this is a GREAT product - and I recommend to anyone with a vintage flair.

I bought the red one— the shape is absolutely amazing and I got so many compliments on it. It seems to me it’s larger than a typical umbrella but not by much. It looks exactly like the picture, except it should be noted that the black lines/edges on it is actually black with white polka dots (you can only see them in the product image if you zoom in.) I’m fairly sure I can cover that up with some paint, but we’ll see. Its not heavy and gives me a decent amount of shade. I’ve accidentally stepped on it a few times (through no fault of the umbrella) and it hasn’t gotten any visible damage/broken, but that might be luck of course.

Broke after 3 times of use. I brought this for my wife, the 3rd time she went to open it the plastic lock just fell into pieces. Just horrible.
