It is suppose to create a barrier that protects skin from irritation due to adhesive. Instead, its more adhesive that is EXTREMELY hard to remove. Alcohol does not easily remove as stated in description.

This is what you need to secure diabetic libre glucose monitor to your pet. Use cotton swap with rubbing alcohol for easy removal. Works great.

No rash on my arms at all with my continuous glucose monitor. Tummy still itches a little and gets a bit red when i use it there, but that skin is sooo sensitive.
