totes Automatic Open Close Compact Foldable Travel Umbrella

A little smaller than I expected but I still love it. It will fit in any purse or pocket.

This is a very small umbrella. This is the type of umbrella that you keep in your office or under the seat of your car just in case you forgot your normal umbrella. It will easily fit in a briefcase or backpack. You push a button and it opens but does not lock into place. You push the button and it will collapse but you have to push the top of the umbrella with your hand to collapse it completely. When fully opened it is 39 inches tip to tip and it is light weight. This is a decent umbrella but if you are looking for a small umbrella that is sturdy and opens up to the size of a golf umbrella this is not what you want.

This umbrella is a great size for leaving in a small bag/purse for emergencies. I keep it with me in the rainy months in PNW. They only problem is it doesnt seem very durable, bends too much in the wind, and Im afraid staying in the bottom of my bag will do it in.

Automatic open and close works well. Compact 8 1/2 inches when folded. Feels sturdy, but durability factor unknown since have only used once. The totes brand quality is what Ill rely on for the long term.

At 7.9 inches it was the shortest travel umbrella we could find. It isnt very strong though and in normal Tokyo winds the metal frame was flimsy. Didnt break though. In Sydney with just rain we had no problem. Ill update after 6 months of use.

Worked well on the one day I used it. Is very solid for an umbrella its size.

This umbrella is really great in that it opens with the push of a button and closes with the push of a button. You must still push the umbrella all the way back into the handle to fold, but the auto open close function is pretty swell. While I did end up returning mine to Amazon (found the exact same item in beautiful prints at the local grocery store for a portion of the price that Amazon was charging), I would recommend this product.

The umbrellas are the right size, and open and close as described. But I ordered three of them, and though two of them are the same item, the third is a different design, color handle, etc. I expected them all to match... Thats my only complaint. Not worth returning or exchanging. An unexpected surprise.

Got stuck in the wind and rain and although this umbrella was turned right side out, I was able to push it back into place and it still works! Also small enough to fit in my small purse while traveling.

Good, quality umbrella. East to open. Just a tiny bit hard to tie it closed so it look like it did when it came. Not a big issue--and it may just me being klutzy.
