> 24 hourTotes knows how to make umbrellas. The handle feels solid in your hands, and the button has a nice feel to it when pressed in. The arm that lifts up and extends is not round, but rather hexagonal allowing for strength in higher then normal winds. The umbrella pops up and is ready to use upon pressing the button to release and the same button pressed again allows for the umbrella head to release. The arm extension still stays extended, but what is unique about this model is that when the umbrella releases it releases the outward cloth upwards. Meaning that if you were in the rain and then you press the button to release the top part it actually holds the water in as for it releases outwards. You can then tilt the umbrella head downwards shake the water off and then push with a bit of force on the top to un-extended the arm and put away. All seams and sewn materials is of good quality. Each extended arm under the umbrella head is of nice quality and each arm has its own spring retention. The umbrella seems loud at first when using it due to the spring loaded action, but is easily overcome through normal usage.

> 24 hourIve used numerous totes umbrellas over the years. Theyve been dependable, durable, and well-used. but failure always happens, and it is usually because a joint where a stretcher meets a rib fails. Sometimes, I can repair these to get a bit more use, but when the umbrella cant be collapsed, it is time for a new one. Ive had this totes InBrella Reverse Folding Umbrella in 15-20 mph winds (not recommended), and it is holding up. I carry an umbrella in my travel pack, so it needs to be the size that goes where I go. There are thinner, smaller travel umbrellas, but dependability is the key. The reverse folding? It seems like this feature makes it harder to dry out.

> 24 hourThis umbrella is well made, and a good size for most rain showers. I love the beautiful fabric as well.

> 24 hourI like this tow away umbrella which easily tucks inside my larger purse/bag or backpack. I like the Velcro closure and the auto folding mechanism which keeps the inside dry and minimizes spillage as I walk inside a building. I appreciate having a nice sky pattern on a dreary day. Enough black. Give me something to cheer about. Overall this is a nice umbrella and it cheers my mood when I need it. Knock on wood, it hasnt broken in the wind so far.

> 24 hourI have a long umbrella that closes with the wet side in. I like this feature, but I dont like carrying it with me, especially when rain is predicted but not currently falling. This one solves that problem. It is small enough to tuck in a bag and still folds wet side in. The button on the handle both opens and begins the closing process. It closes the canopy part, but you still have to press on the ends to get it back to its smaller length. Who would have thought that umbrellas could be improved, but they keep doing it!

> 24 hourI bought this umbrella to see how practical it would be for me and use it, while raining, while getting into my vehicle. For this purpose alone, it does work and is neat I suppose. The main dislike I have is that this umbrella is too small (in diameter) for me. I’m not a large person and this barely covers me. Light rain is fine, but anything more, and if there’s wind, you’ll want the 55” Totes. This umbrella is a good in-between. It closes and opens snappy and fairly small and compact. It’s just okay to me.

> 24 hourEasy to open and close. I have owned totes in the past and its a good brand that tends to last. I also know that they tend to honor their warranties, and Ive replaced an older totes umbrella in the past. Small and very portable. Not a bad value. 4 star rated.
