We use this as a deshedding brush for our dogs and it works great! Got a bigger one before that did not work as well as this one. If you’re using it for dogs just be careful not to overdo it or press too hard. Works quickly!

I love this curry comb! My mini horse loves it too. He gets excited when he sees it. The way its made prevents you from combing to hard. It has been a life saver helping to get all that baby hair off . I liked it so much I bought another one.

This one is a bit rougher than I would normally buy. Our mud caked mare has made it clear she doesnt love this one. We do use it for really caked on mud. I dont know if we will use this for spring shedding because it is quite aggressive, but we will see. Generally speaking I would say it is critical to make sure there is a gentle hand behind this one, and then it will be ok.

My vet suggested this as my cat does not like to be groomed. He laid down and let me groom him on the first use and every one since! Great product.

Traditional designs probably work better. My dog is very stand offish about this shearer. If I had it to do over again I would have bought the shearer with one blade, because I think my dog wild have been more comfortable. But, honestly it does the job... maybe too good... my dog really doesnt like me using it on her.
