I put this in my sons room because he uses a computer and closes the door and it gets hot in there. This has a small footprint compared to a standing oscillating fan. It doesnt need a ton of clearance to be able to swivel, either. The only con for me was the difficulty of getting the base put on. I had a hard time getting the pieces to snap in. Otherwise, it has been just what I wanted.

I get hot flashes. I put this next to our bed and when one starts I just twist the knob and voila I am cool. It is quiet and has straight and oscillating options. It’s exactly what I wanted. I am glad I tried it.

**UPDATE** After leaving my previous review the seller contacted me and sent me a new fan. The fan seems to be working fine so far. Good customer service and I appreciate the flow up and fast response. Fan was delivered fast, easy to assemble, looks good, remote function is handy. Turned fan on and it was quiet and produced great air. Day 3….. fan is making a HORRIBLE noise, like its gonna break or the blades inside are going to fly out. The air is not circulating as well either. VERY VERY disappointed!!!!!!! Only 3 days of usage?????

This fan has a good power to it. I have it set up in the bedroom and it oscillates and pushes out air really nicely. Its a better quality than the stand-up fan that I have in the bedroom, which is nice.

Its perfect for my bedroom especially when its warm upstairs and I dont want to turn on air. Love the remote but it is confusing because I havent taken the time. It comes on and I can turn it off. Great buy

This fan is not worth the price. Produces average at best. Noise level is minimal. If the temp is 100 degrees outside, this fan will not keep you cool. One good feature, doesn’t take up a lot is space. This fan will not cool off a room, but a space within the room.
