Tower Manufacturing 30434009 Auto-Reset 15 AMP Right Angle GFCI Plug, Black

I had to replace one of these on my pressure washer. Very easy to make the switch and the washer working again.

This will sound like an ad but I used this to replace the GFI plug on a small pool pump so I can plug into a timer. Since the existing cord already had lugs, it was mainly just a matter of choosing the appropriate grommet from the 3 sizes provided, feeding the cord through and connecting the lugs to the new GFI. Fast and easy. Some may be interested to know that using the test button on this plug (for my setup at least) does not also trip the upstream GFI breaker at the main panel. That saves some time leg work. Of course this is without knowing how well it will hold up long term, but so far Im happy.

I used it for a mister fan

My neighbor was going to throw out her pressure washer and buy a new one. I asked to see if I could fix it for her. For 10 minutes and less than $20 its working good as new again. I really wish people knew how easy it is to fix things. Our land-fills are full of fixable items. Such a waste.

We killed the plug on our hot tub when moving. This worked perfectly. My husband (who is not handy) replaced it within minutes. Saved our hot tub and probably our marriage lol.

I have had several of the previous Tower GFI plugs fail on my water vacuum. I am hoping the new improved switch is more reliable than the previous model. When the switch fails it completely fails no Rhyme or Reason. Ive had a tower GFI last 2 years with no problem and have had a Tower switch fail in 1 hour of operation.

Worked as it should

I called the Spa Mfg and he said to go to a particular web site and order the cord w plug at $160 ++. I was able to find this on line and only paid about $35 or so. THANK YOU
