Did not even last me one trip strap ripped from hook thank god we made it home

I like that it is painted, living in Florida tears up metal fast.

Works well, mechanism is of good quality, but included strap is not very strong, it’s lighter than seat belt material. Strap broke on first use. Buy a stronger strap or rope.

Installed on trailer for my 15’ boat. Tried to reel about 6” to re-support boat on trailer from removing the old reel. Handle stripped right away. Cheep. Do not purchase.

Very nice great quality perfect for waverruner

I replaced the original equipment winch on my boat trailer with this. Used it once and am taking it off - see photo. I had to stop to tighten the winch no fewer than 6 times, the strap must have been stretching. Odd, since I replaced the strap on my original winch and never had to retighten it. I figured this mfr just cheaped out on the strap and when I went to put my old strap (less than a year old), I could see the huge difference between the two. And, the bolt that attaches the strap to the winch was quite bent! It also lacked a sleeve that the previous rig had which protects the strap fabric from the bolt. This winch was rated the same as the original equipment winch but doesnt cut it. Nice ratchet assembly tho...

Has worked well so far. Used it on my 1860 Xpress trailer. Far better than the one I had on before.

I bought a pair of these to replace, older lousy winches on my jet ski trailer, they were easy to install, look great and have the gearing to easily winch the jet skis into position on the trailer. The only issue I had was the hook attached to the strap was to fat to fit through the built in metal loops on the front of the jet skis, so it took a little work with the angle grinder to correct, otherwise a great buy.

Would have been lovely if it came with hardware but otherwise works great
