> 3 dayI bought this for a last minute trip and needed something that would fit 3 laptops, charging cords, a book and anything else I may need to take on the plane with me. This fit everything I needed and STILL had plenty of space for much more. I didn’t even need to extend the zipper to make the bag bigger! The material was great quality and very sturdy. With everything I had in the bag, it definitely made it very heavy (about 12-15 lbs) but the bag was able to withstand all that weight with no issues. Definitely recommend! Great buy!

06-06-2025Great for traveling when I went to Europe this past summer. It has many pockets and compartments. However, I give it 4 stars because the zipper is loose and when I had to run in the airport to a couple of flights, it came unzipped. Otherwise, I recommend.

> 3 dayThis isnt the first Matein Laptop Backpack I have bought. Going to kind of give reviews on both, bought one one year ago a little different design and this one is an upgrade the expanding center area and the flap access better than last years. Now the only problem I had with last years was that it sun faded, never wore out and I used it one year(believe in making things last even though they look ugly called conservation of resources). And that what gets me used everyday last years model never any bad sewing or zippers and Im rough on products. So the only negative I can think is live where you dont have Las Vegas Sunlight and UV rays.

> 3 dayThe Matein Travel Backpack is not very well-built. If you are looking for a bag, this is not it for the price. The middle expander pocket after some time (less than a year) start popping open on its own. It would not hold and usually leads to the backpack always being extended because zipping it back up would end with it popping back open again. The USB charging port on the bag is not rated for a very high wattage. Plugging a power bank in and charging from the other side results in a MUCH slower charging speed. It is not worth it for the penalty, and the port is overall just cheaply made. The velcro on the laptop sleeve/bag and the front pocket is of very poor quality. Over time, it quickly wears and stars tearing (individual fibers coming out). This renders the strap essentially useless. For something that can last a long time, I would not recommend this bag at all. There are much better options. Lastly, the customer service is very poor. The moment you bring an issue up to them, they will proceed to ghost you and not respond if it is related to the backpack/quality issues of it. Do not expect to get anything in return if you get an issue.

> 3 dayI needed a backpack to carry around some of my electronics and stuff on a recent road trip out to Utah and Arizona (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, etc). I carry around with me a Insta360 OneX2 and a gimbal for my phone and my Samsung Tab S7. That right there is already a pretty pricey bit of equipment and I needed something that was 1) Sturdy 2)Comfy 3) protective and 4) had lots of organizational pockets. I read all the good reviews for this backpack and admitedly thought, it had to be too good to be true.... but i was WRONG. All the good reviews were 100% deserved! This backpack not only looks good... but it protects my valuables and has TONS of functionality to boot! It doesnt just have a lot of pockets for the sake of having lots of pockets.... no.... the pockets are all well thought out to maximize space and storage, without sacrificing protection. I love this backpack and so far, through hiking in Zion, and a few miles walked at the Grand Canyon... its holding up great. I highly recommend!

> 3 dayFairly decent backpack for the money... what irritates me about this pack is the farthest - back pocket flap is secured by a cheesy velcro fastener... it wears out very quickly so when you use the backpack and are walking, the back flap is literally flapping as you move...up and down... Ive tried adding additional 3M heavy duty velcro, cut to the exact size of whats installed - as a fix - but it doesnt seem to wanna work... other than that I do appreciate the storage and # of pockets...

> 3 dayLove this backpack so far. Only used it a couple times, but so far so good. The bag has plenty of space for everything I need. I have not even had to use the expandable section yet. Plenty of pockets for everything you need.
