Got this for my daughter who started middle school & she loved the color!! The extra padding for her chrome book is great & we love to be able to charge the laptop while still in her bag so it’s not forgotten!! Lots of extra room for all the things needed & not needed!! Very durable!!

Just finished up a year with this backpack at school and it held up Really well. Had LOTS of pockets! Daughter jazzed it up with pins and keychains. She loved it so much she is using next year as well. Happy with the quality and the price.

Fairly roomy, built for a laptop + other gear while traveling or commuting. Could use more smaller pockets up front, but it still organizes and carries my smaller bits well enough

I like the backpack in that its solid black, is comfortable, and retains its shape when empty. It has a large volume for storage (mine is the larger bag), which is nice since I mainly take it with me when I travel (frequently). The #1 con for me is that when the bag is full, the laptop compartment comes open (frequently) when picking up the bag, which then causes said laptop and other articles in that compartment to dump out. Not sure if its a design flaw, loose zipper, or what, but its frustrating and hasnt happened on my other backpacks. To fix this, I added a hitch pin clip through the two zippers to hold it shut, and that seems to work for now.

This isnt the first Matein Laptop Backpack I have bought. Going to kind of give reviews on both, bought one one year ago a little different design and this one is an upgrade the expanding center area and the flap access better than last years. Now the only problem I had with last years was that it sun faded, never wore out and I used it one year(believe in making things last even though they look ugly called conservation of resources). And that what gets me used everyday last years model never any bad sewing or zippers and Im rough on products. So the only negative I can think is live where you dont have Las Vegas Sunlight and UV rays.

My daughter needed a roomy backpack with many compartments. She is also very hard on her belongings so we needed it to hold up. We are very pleased! Nice and padded with functional pockets. Room for her water bottle on the side as well
