The outer pocket zipper broke after 1 trip.

The bag lasted 8 months and eventually the zippers broke and couldn’t maintain the constant travel.

This is the perfect carry on for business trips up to 5 days. I am able to pack 3 complete suits, 2 pairs of dress shoes, plus a few items of casual clothing. Never had a problem placing it in the overhead bins of the big 3 domestic carriers

I travel for a living inside the US and Canada. I have flown as much as 130,000 miles in a year. Luggage is very important to me. Traveling with business clothes is very difficult. I carry a steamer with me because my clothes come out of my Briggs and Riley Baseline, very wrinkled. This bag lays out flat with connected zippers to open the hanging clothes area. There are several small pockets inside and one larger one outside. I cannot get everything I would need for a trip in this bag, but with this checked or carried on, a second carry on would be sufficient. Travel Pro is one of the top manufacturers and this bag shows why. Highly recommended.

I would agree with others that this bag is well made and has great space. I was able to pack 2 suits with suits, shoes, and casual clothes for a 4 four day trip, and that was about the limit. the problem came with trying to navigate in the airport. Because the bag rolls horizontally and because I am 6 ft, I found myself constantly hitting the bag with my heals as I walked, tripping me up. A couple of times I actually stumbled as I was trying to race from plane to plane making me nervous about the thing behind me. Either the handle needs be longer or the bag needs to roll upright which would be the better solution so it could be rolled down the aisle in the plane. Unfortunately this was a deal breaker for me and I am returning it.

Overall the bag is great: quality construction, nice leather accents, sturdy telescopic handle - just aesthetically pleasing and very well made. However, there is room for improvement and some missed opportunities to make it even better than it is: 1. The inside flap should have two mesh pockets, not just one! It is inexplicable to me why Travelpro decided not to include a second one below the existing one: there is room for it and it would be extremely helpful to store additional items - why pass on this opportunity??? 2. The extension panel should have two (instead of one) buckle straps so if you want to use the panel for an extra pair of pants or a couple of t-shirts, the two straps would help keep them in place. 3. The outside pocket should have a built-in organizer for passports, pens, business cards, phone, etc. (not essential, but it would be a convenient feature). So, all in all I am happy with this bag, but a little more attention to detail and a few minor tweaks would go a long way to make it so much better.

The Zippers are of poor quality. One trip and one of them is damaged. It is a good bag with poor zippers . May be they should use Velcro

The good: Perfect for suits, dress shirts, dresses, and other formal clothing. Perfect fit in overhead as a carry on item. The bad: Very awkward when rolling as compared to spinner carry ons. The zippers tend to get hung up and can be very difficult to zip open or closed near the clasp on both ends. VERY FRUSTRATING. Overall it is a very high quality piece of luggage. But you pay for the quality. The frustration with the zipper prevents me from recommending this garment bag.

For a bag of this price and “supposed” quality, the zippers should be better. After only 1 trip I am concerned that because they decided to go cheap instead of using the famous Japanese YKK brand that I wonder if this bag will make it 10 trips. Especially the outside pocket zippers seem to be a concern. While I am posting this is there anyone that owned one of these that can tell me that adding something - - beeswax? – WD-40? – ANYTHING? will help improve these? I traded in a 10 year old Patagonia bag for this bag and am hoping that this one will make it through 2 years!
