> 3 dayI bought these cards, Levels A, B, and C, to help my Kindergartener learn the sight words required by her school. Most of the words were in Level A. Some were in B and some were in C, so I ended up buying all three of them. The cards are good quality, a little on the large side for flash cards with lots of space around them, I guess for adults with large hands to hold them without covering up the words. In small print on the back of the box, it states that the cards are printed on both sides. I did not catch this before I purchased the cards. I wish they came in a single sided version. This would make learning activities easier, like making sentences with the cards, playing word bingo, and other fun ways to encourage a 5 year old to learn.

> 3 dayI got this set for my daughter (as well as levels A and B) right before she started kindergarten. It was nice to let him practice some of the easier sight words, and it really helped her as he started school. These flash cards are great as well, because they taught him words that are not pronounced phonetically as well as words that he began to see a lot as he started to read books. She enjoyed the flash card system, and even asked to work with them. Now, as he is in second grade, I still use the cards. This time, though, I use the cards to help her with spelling these words. He is an auditory learner and tends to try to write all words phonetically. By showing her these cards, I can let her see what the different words look like--and how they are not spelled as they are heard. Great cards.
