> 24 hourSeems like a good quality industrial network switch. I used it in a control panel with a PLC and touch screen.

> 24 hourI have it installed on a DIN rail in the attic. It hasnt been through the full range of temperatures yet, so well see. Of course, I had to buy and hook up a power supply for it, bur this was not a big deal.

> 24 hourReturned. 1Gbps capacity is NOT the 1Gbit/gigabit. Im betting they say this because 5x 100 Mbit, in both directions (from the switchs ports and to the switchs ports) is a total of 1Gbps, but no one else advertises switches this way. Misleading on purpose. Makes a slow switch appear as if its fast, when it absolutely is not.

> 24 hourNeeded a switch on the receiving end of a ubiquity link for network expansion to a remote building 800 ft from main building. Din rail mounting and power supply connections made location and power an easy task.

> 24 hourIt mounts nicely on a DIN rail but you cant easily access the release spring once it is mounted. This makes it hard to release it from the rail or move it once you have it in place. It is fairly low power and has support for dual power supplies. It doesnt come with its own 12v adapter but if you are running this in a DIN rail built enclosure you probably have a 12v din power supply. If not then you will need to get one.
