However, more importantly it is well designed from a safety perspective - no poke and anti-pinch covers protects little ones during use. Also the action of the umbrella is easy/smooth to operate and should be fine for little hands. 5-stars for a great first umbrella!

My 7 year old was able to open and close the umbrella on her own, and it kept her dry. So from that perspective it does what it is meant to do. Also the unicorn design was something she was excited about.
