> 3 dayBest Looking and Quality Helmets for Toddlers out there. My boy/girl twins turn 2 next week and we wanted to buy them balance bikes for their birthday. The bikes were easy to find helmets not so easy. I looked in about every store that carried toddler helmets and all I could find were cartoon characters or big huge plastic fohawks. When I first started looking at these I was looking at an adult helmet. Somehow I came across the manufacturers number by looking at their website and spoke to someone who advised I look at the Triple Eight Lil 8 I am so glad he did. These helmets are great - easy to adjust. The first night trying them on my son wasnt really interested in wearing them but the next day when we took them and their bikes outside they played the entire time wearing their helmets. I am so glad that I found great looking quality helmets for toddlers.

> 3 dayLove! Fits my 3 year old perfect (and she has a pretty large head) with plenty of room to grow and tighten.

> 3 dayThe specs say that this fits 18 - 20.5 inch child heads, so when I measured my sons head at 19.5, this seemed like it would be perfect. But even tightened all the way it is still too loose to use. It would not protect him at all. I checked age charts and 50 percentile at 36 months is 19.75 inches so I feel my measurement is NOT incorrect. The specs are quite misleading. This will be a great helmet in the future...but not until he is 4 or older??? I have the same brand for my wife and I... we live it. But this is disappointing.

> 3 dayI bought these expecting to have a thick sweatband like what my older boys have in their Triple 8 helmets. The fit is hard to get snug and I think the additional padding would help. I would have returned them but my kids already tore open boxes before we realized the padding was different.

> 3 dayI used Triple eight helmets and pads in my youth. Now the little dude is learning how to ride a bike, so it was a no brainer to go with Triple Eight. The helmet has an adjuster as well as a second cushion so you can properly fit the helmet. Also comes with a chin cushion that attaches to the strap. Overall all great produst.

Greater than one weekGot it in blue and my daughter loves wearing this helmet. Its a tad too big (kid is almost 4 and tall, but has a smallish skull), but I managed to tighten the straps enough to make it work. I like that theres protection for the back and sides of her head, not just the top like a regular bike helmet. Theres lots of room to grow.

> 3 dayMy son was 3.5 when we got this for him (we’ve had it 4 months now and love it). It’s very sturdy and we use it a the skate park and when he rides his bicycle multiple times a week. The vents help cycle air so it doesn’t get too sweaty in there. Color options were nice!
