I was relieved that they actually made something like this. My cord was just a little too short for the way I had my tower configured on my desk and I began searching for these. I finally found these and they do just the trick. I was wondering whether or not it would get hot when the computer was on but even with my setup pulling more than 550 watts, the cable doesnt show the slightest hint of heat.

Connects tightly to get the extension needed. Does what it is suppose to do. Would like to have had more length options.

The Tripp Lite extension chord is exactly as described in the description - the length and color is correct and the product is very durable and strong. The product was shipped and arrived faster than expected and the chord was packaged in such a way that protected the item. A+ all around. I would buy again from this seller.

This item was represented as a Tripp Lite 14 awg IEC Power Cord @ 6 ft. What I received was an Apollo brand that is rated at 10 amps, so I am assuming that it 18 awg, but who knows. The ad suggested a savings of about $20, so I assumed a liquidation situation. I have asked for a ful refund - will wait a short while.

Good for price. It is slightly lose when plugged.

Needed a longer cord for my monitor, this is it.
