Measure your head, with your ponytail if you have one. Sizing accurate on website- you just have to translate how many inches equals a medium, for example. Not hard at all. Good helmet!

I bought this helmet for my 6 yr old for Christmas and she loves it! I trust Troxel helmets for myself so as soon as she started taking riding lessons I got her the helmet / helmet brand that I swear by. Adjustable padded helmet liner plus adjustable band that tightens in the back guarantees a comfortable and safe fit for children.

I bought this helmet for my 3yo son who participates in therapeutic riding (similar to hippotherapy). It fits perfectly, and I love that it is adjustable. My son usually wont wear hats or helmets, and he wears this without complaint. The periwinkle color is great for a boy, and I think girls would like the color as well.

Color and quality are great. My 6 year old’s head measurement was at the upper end of the XS, and low end of the S, so I decided to size up to the small, and I am glad I did. It fits perfectly. The only downside is a lack of ventilation which results in a very sweaty head/wet hair.

Beautiful helmet, I am familiar with the Troxell brand name. So when my youngest daughter showed intrest in riding I knew just where to go for her safety equipment. Quality helmet with attention to proper fitment.
