The cable works so far. I will be using this Ethernet cable above ground on an external wall of my house for security cameras. The cable will receive blazing direct sunlight up to 110F in the summer, rain, and cold weather down to 30F in the winter. I cannot rate the durability yet because I just installed. The gel inside is difficult to get off fingers, but I see that as a sign the weather proofing is effective.

It is everything I have ever wanted in a burial cable

Ran 680 and buried. Supporting great signal!

I ran about 100, some of it outside. It worked great. The gel is very much like petroleum jelly. I had to wipe down the inside wires and then wash my hands to work with it. I suspect it works really well at keeping water out.

GOOD TO JUST BURY WITHOUT CONDUIT

Used for security cameras in my residence and horse facility. Excellent price and quick delivery.

Though it took a little patience to terminate this cable, the time it took was well worth it. I pulled this into underground conduit to replace Cat5e cable for my security cameras (4K now instead of HD). Though larger and stiffer than the Cat5e, the cable made all the tight bends. The gel makes termination a bit fun since it is very slippery and takes quite a bit of effort to remove. The center core is a non-issue for termination, but really strengthens the overall cable for pulling. My longest pull was 230 feet.

Zero complaints on this. We ran this cable down our driveway to our gate. It did exactly what we needed. No reason to spend the money on Fiber with special labor. This cable did perfect with Ubiquity equipment.

Ran 9 cables about 180 through 1 pvc. I had to pull a little harder than I would have liked to a couple times and the jacket scraped a time or two, but the cable and wires were completely intact. Easy to terminate in keystone jacks and patch panel. The gel makes it a bit...fun...to terminate, so have a paper towel or cloth handy.

I have used this Cat6 cable on multiple outdoor jobs, some direct burial. Security cameras, PoE devices, switches and WAPs. Good value for the money and Ive never had any issues with it. No issues with termination either.
