I consistently use this heat tape for my sublimation projects and I have had zero issues with it. It removes smoothly and protects the project absolutely flawlessly to help mitigate ghosting. I will continue to purchase this pack as part of my supplies for my projects. I hope this review is helpful!

I put this heat tape in my dispenser and it works great. It held my product and came off very easily when it was complete.

I’ve tried a lot of different heat tapes for sublimation and this one is definitely the strongest I’ve found. I can pull it very tight around sublimation tumblers without it ripping or thinning out. The tape is stronger and a bit thicker than the average heat tape. If you’re using a press or attachment rather than a convection oven you will not have to allow for additional time in the areas that are taped. Your design will sublimate just fine through it. Really pleasantly surprised with this since I typically prefer a thicker tape.

This tape does exactly what its supposed to. It holds my images down during the heat press process. You get 4 rolls which is plenty. I recommend this tape to anyone designing t-shirts or whatever.

I tested this heat resistant tape on multiple types of paper including cardstock, plain copy paper, sublimation paper, a pre-washed t-shirt, and a regular legal writing pad. The tape holds tightly to all surfaces but removes easily without pulling up any fibers at all from any of the different types of paper. This is perfect for my sublimation projects since I can tape the sublimation paper to the t-shirt, iron on the design with the tape still on it, and then just remove the tape and sublimation design easily. My package says pack of two and I received 2 rolls instead of the stated four rolls in the ad title.

This heat tape works great, it is a bit thin but comes with 4 rolls. Works great for transfers on mugs, shirts ect.

I use this for sublimating tumblers and it works well. Ive used tape that either doesnt stick as well as it should when I pull it really tight, or is nearly impossible to get off after heating. This tape seems to work well. Doesnt have as much stretch to it as some of the brown tapes Ive used, so I always wonder if Im getting the image wrapped tight enough with this tape, but so far results have been good.

This tape is a nice little luxury for me. I own and operate a few 3D printers as a hobby, and this tape is a surprisingly helpful item for my recent experiments. Im experimenting with various printer settings, which is resulting in a lot of failed and flawed 3D prints. No worry for me, as its using up old filament, and its giving me sacrificial samples for airbrushing, but I digress. This tape helps me salvage some 3D prints in unique ways. Ill describe my latest use of this tape as an example: I 3D printed a squirrel statue fully intending to airbrush it. However, the print suffered nasty layer separation during removal. So, I hot glued the layers back together, and used this tape to bind the print, holding the layers together while the hot glue set and dried. Even with deliberately brushing the hot glue gun tip across this tape, it held and didnt let go. To really test this tape, I fired up my hot air gun to whisk off stringing hairs off of the print. The hot air gun doesnt have a temperature gauge, so I dont know exactly how hot I was running it, but again, the tape didnt budge. Id guesstimate the temperature of the hot air was at least 200 degrees Celsius. Mind you, using a hot air gun to clear print stringing is a fast affair, and you always keep the hot air gun moving so as not to let the 3D print turn molten and deform, so I definitely didnt torture test this tape. Be as it may, I dont think any other household tape would have held up like this tape did, and decorative 3D prints like the squirrel statue cant just be thrown into a standard clamp. If this tape were wider, Id try using it on the build plate of one of my printers. But at a width of 0.4 (just over 3/8), itll take a very long time to lay this out on the build plate, and I dont deem that worth the time. However, given the results thus far, I would definitely trust using this tape as a cover for a FDM/FFF 3D printers build plate. Im not sure if or how well prints would stick to it, but I do know as far as temperatures go, this could perform as well as kapton tape.

This pack of TSSART 4Pack Heat Resistant Tape - Blue Heat Press Tape 0.4 inch Wide 108FT Long for Vinyl Sublimation Heat Transfer Application, Oxidation and High Temperature Resistance Easy Peeling Residue Free sublimation crafting tape works well. Im a rookie with sublimation heat transfer projects, but so far, this tape is great for keeping my paper from moving about under the pressure and also peels off easily without leaving any tackiness behind.
