> 24 hourTST has 2 types of sensors for the Series 507 system. Both have the same part number (TST-507-RV-S2). Both types work with the Series 507 display but they are NOT the same. One is the anti-theft twist cap type (pictured below). The other is the lock-nut type. The two types use entirely different wrenches. Neither wrench will work on the other type. They also use different size batteries that are not interchangeable. I ordered the TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitor w/8 Cap Sensors. However, TST does not package the 507 monitor with 8 sensors. (???!) Tweetys shipped the TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitor w/6 Cap Sensors plus a 2-pack. The monitor came with 6 twist-cap type sensors. The 2-pack was the lock-nut type. Given the two types have the same part number I understand why Tweetys did that. However, I did not want to have to carry two types of wrenches and two types of batteries. If you order the monitor with 8 sensors, make sure you get all the same type of sensors. I contacted TST. They said the two types with the same part number is a rolling upgrade. Yeah, thanks!

> 24 hourOnly complaint is that instructions are a bit confusing. But eventually figured it out on my own.

> 24 hourMy difficulty was to find a system mountable to tandem rear wheels allowing easy access for inflating. TST customer service was very helpful suggesting metal stems extending to just outside the wheels where cap type sensors could be used. I now have much easier access for inflating as well as easy to use monitoring display.

> 24 hourThis was certainly not the least expensive option, but is truly a case of you get what you pay for. The system works flawlessly and connectivity is never a problem. We like the rechargeable control module (battery last a long time) because it can be slipped in a cubby for easy access when we feel its necessary to monitor. Trust me, if you have a tire go out of set point parameters the alert will get your attention immediately. We use the cap sensors on our motorhome and tow car and I like that the way they are assembled with the option to change batteries. Overall this is a great system and were very happy with it!!!

> 24 hourI experienced a tire blowout that cause $1500 in damage to my RV. After installing this system, I am able to monitor my tire pressures, and drive without fear of another blowout. I do realize that a tire can blow unexpected at any time, but most tire failures can be identified by a loss of pressure before significant damage occurs. I love the monitoring system, and it sits perfectly on my dash. The security safety feature my prevent some theft, but if someone wants to steal them they will come off with a a wrench and a little effort. It is well worth the expense!

> 24 hourThis works. First road trip out and we could have had a tire failure. The high pressure alarm sounded, we pulled over and stopped, adjusted the air pressure, and went on our way. TST customer service was very helpful in setting up the system. Use the repeater to get the best results in wireless readings.

> 24 hourThe TST may well be among the best available. My rating is closer to 5 stars than 4, but I am not willing to give the product full marks. Lesser priced items had too many reported issues for my comfort level, and one I had purchased did not have the range required for use with a decent sized fifth wheel. I took the plunge on the TST. It worked fine right out of the box. Tire temperatures seem plausible. Tire pressures were mostly within a degree or so to other trusted sources, but one sensor seems to be off by a few degrees. Same with the tire pressures. While close within one PSI or so, not all sensors agree with a trusted calibrated pressure gauge. This does not make the system unusable, but is a little irritating at this price point. Itd be nice if they could be field calibrated. I did use the range extender and did not test operation without it. It can take a little time for the signals to be picked up but seem to hold well once acquired on a 35 trailer. It would be a lot better if the display be configurable to match the tires being monitored instead of having the generic and very busy display. This could be readily accomplished with some creative programming and perhaps a different more modern display. The display seems to work well enough and has good visibility in most lighting conditions. I would prefer the caps have a lower profile to further reduce chance of damage. Perhaps that would only be a serious concern in off road conditions.

> 24 hourWhile the setup procedure is a little wonky, I find the system to be very responsive and accurate. Of the 10 sensors received, 1 had issues (reading 10 psi difference from the digital readout compared to manual measurement). TST customer/technical service was very responsive and replaced the sensor with no issue.

> 24 hourA little complicated to set up the computer, but we figured it out! It can control multiple trailers. Constant readings for air pressure and temperature on all tires. Super easy to use.
