I have never used anything like this before, and was a little apprehensive at first. After being quoted $350 by my local Ram dealer to program my new trailer brake controller, I bought this and an OBD reader. It works exactly as I hoped it would, and makes bypassing the Security Gateway Module a piece of cake. I literally took me 30 seconds to do the $350 worth of work the dealer wanted me to pay.

Works great to bypass the gateway. The wires are a bit difficult to get to, but no problems.

Easy to use and codes are accurate, plugs in to my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL and syncs to my phone via Bluetooth. Thankful I had this and didn’t have to run to the dealer every time I had an issue.

It does exactly what is supposed to do.

The hardest part of using this is the OEM plugs under the dash. If you have big hands, its going to be tight to unlock the factory plugs. But once youre connected, its excellent and very easy to use with an OBD wireless dongle. No connection issues and it seems to be very high quality materials and build.

Product worked great for my 22 Ram 1500. I used with Alfa to change settings on BCM. I wish it came with instructions but due to the fact that every vehicle will be in a different location I cant really blame them.
