Great tool to have, worked perfectly

Unlike the Jeep JK, the JL has a security feature that prevents you from writing to the computer for things like changing your axle ratio, tire size, etc using J-Scan. This is the cable you need to use to make those mods. Its a pain to get to the connections under the dash though, so I recommend also getting the extension cable, Z AUTOMOTIVE SGW EXTENSION CABLE. I found that at Z Automotives site, but it wouldnt accept my order for some reason, but I also found them at Northridge 4x4. Anyway, this is all an economical way of charging parameters on your JL and is well built and works well.

Allowed me to flash my 2019 RAM with my OBD2 MX+ so that my upgraded fog lights no longer flicker. Highly recommended if you have a security module in your car that needs to be bypassed!

Product worked great for my 22 Ram 1500. I used with Alfa to change settings on BCM. I wish it came with instructions but due to the fact that every vehicle will be in a different location I cant really blame them.

I was up and running with this cable in minutes. Once the app was able to contact my BT adapter (connected to this cable), I was immediately able to access a ton of vehicle features and settings not normally available. Would definitely recommend this cable. It quite rugged and built to last.
