This pin punch set is a great value for the money. I recently had purchased and returned several low cost China punch sets, either due to, premature punch breakage or having defects right out of the box. However, the TuffMan Tools set get a thumbs up for having decent quality for the price.

Used them for an AR-15 build. They dont hold the roll pin, but they work well for driving them in and out. A good basic set.

I bought these to perform maintenance on an inherited pistol a few months ago and time slipped by before I remembered to do so. Now that I have, I can say that these are very good for the price. They worked just fine and I was able to completely take down the pistol with them. My two complaints are not about the punches themselves but the Bonus storage pouch. The first issue is the closure which uses a ribbon sewn to the border stitching to tie closed. It would have been better if a hook and loop fastener had been used as the ribbon doesnt really stay tied. The second issue is the openings for the individual punches are very tight and catch on the punches requiring several attempts to put the punch away. Some elastic could have been used to make that a little easier.

Two of the smaller punches bent the first time I used them. Not worth the money.

These punches are part of my gunsmithing tool box and I use them quite often. They seem to be well-made and I have not had any issues with their quality. It is important to note that these have rounded tips and work best for roll pins. Depending on your needs, you may also want to get either flat or recessed punches to go along with these ones as these tend to slip off most other things you want to punch.

It’s a nine dollar punch set, so don’t expect a forty dollar punch set…but it’s pretty darn good for $9. Rubber surface on the handles for grip, and a nylon/plastic point so you won’t scratch anything. I bought this to push pins on my rifle and it does what it’s supposed to do.

The pin punches are good But the tie string on the pouch came apart when I opened it the first time. Also its hard to get the punches out with the plastic wrap on them.

Though this was more of a just in case purchase, I actually ended up needing some of these punches sooner than I expected. With that being said, their build quality is excellent. The aggressively textured handles really help to retain the punches while using them. The carrying bag that comes with them is also very sturdy, and I dont expect it to fail, rip, or wear heavily any time in the next decade or even longer. Im not a huge fan of the pointed tips, as it seems more redundant than anything and not very helpful for driving rounded pins back in. Aside from that, this punch set covers every common sized pin Ive had to take out so far. Id definitely recommend these at their current price.
