This product is awesome and we will be buying the other colors as well. Bonus is that after you use up the colors there is packets of more dye in the box! So you get 2 projects out of this!

Great colors and easy to use. Comes with powder in the bottles and one additional packet of each color. I used all the dye in the kit for this project with minimal excess runoff. Would be enough for 2-3 shirts.

Works good but when I opened pkg some color was loose, turned my fingers blue. Wear gloves opening pkg!

I bought this kit at Hobby Lobby and I absolutely LOVE how it came out! I havent tie dyed anything since I was like 9 so I was nervous. I have a few tips if, like me, you havent done it in forever: * Do it outside if you can. It was too cold here so I ended up doing it in my bathtub but I lined the bottom of my tub with plastic wrap to prevent stains. Doing that worked perfectly. * When you fill the bottle, close the lid well, hold your finger over the cap tight, and shake it really well away from your face. I ended up with a few small dark flecks in my dye from not shaking it well enough but it doesnt bother me. * Once you dye your stuff, place them in individual zip loc bags and let them sit for a full day. * Rinse in cool water until the water runs clear. Then wash on warm (or cold) with only a little soap and the largest load size/most water possible. Dry as normal (I just did a medium heat dry cycle). Im happy with the results and plan to dye more stuff soon!

Great product, but cheaper in craft stores

I bought this kit as one of my COVID-19 stay at home projects. Half the dye powder comes in the bottles and the other half is in packets. I used first half to dye the shirts pictured (4 adult tees, 2 adult tanks, and 2 kids’ tees) and will be giving the rest to my sister. I probably could have stretched it further but I applied generous amounts of dye to ensure the colors were vibrant (and they are!). As recommended by others I purchased a pound of soda ash separately and soaked the shirts in it for 20 minutes before dying. I also let the dye set overnight instead of the 6-8 hours instructed. My technique could use some work but I’m pretty happy with the results!

As I was filling the bottles with water as instructed one of the bottles had a hole in it, it leaked and ruined everything.

The colors were perfect and exactly what I wanted. The green was a little more bright green than I expected but I only let the dye sit for 10-20 minutes because I wanted the colors more subdued. Overall I really like this color pack and recommend it for sure. PS I am wearing shorts lol they just arent seen.

I used all the dye, including the extra packs, for my daughter’s birthday. We had 10 girls tie dying and they didn’t spare an ounce of dye on their shirts. I even had one bottle left over.

Everything was alright, but the bottles have been used before and not cleaned very well
