I prefer to use the dry method, and these dyes are fantastic! We threw a little tie dye party for my 8 year old son, and none of the kids had any problems. Tulip is definitely my go-to tie dye brand!

Made pretty tie-dye shirts at my daughters birthday. Easy to use, but really make sure you have the gloves on (or better, yet, buy good-fitting ones from the first-aid department). it can be tricky when youre doing the project to tell if the dye is going where you want it, because it runs down into your tied parts. But, they turned out nice. Easy to wash (no need to set) and color stays then ages nicely. I have to say, though, do not believe the internet that says this is an easy way to do tie dye with very small kids. I mean, its EASIER, but not easy. We tried it with 3-year-olds, and it was not a very fun time for them because they could not control the dye bottles very well, so we couldnt let them do as they might have pleased. If you are going to do this with little ones, make sure they and the immediate area are protected enough that you dont have to worry about the dye flying around.

was very easy to get started. bind the shirts first then add the water and squirter all over. be sure to get in the creases of the fabric! I let ours sit for a week before washing them out. vibrant colors!

Ordered these for a birthday party and the shirts looked great and the kids had a blast doing it!

I did not get any solution to soak in first, just got the shirts damp. It worked perfect, very vibrant colors!! Reusable bottles, enough mix for 2 rounds of dying. Included gloves, rubber bands, pattern ideas, etc.

Colors hold great, although i had to use more dye for better coverage even for a 4 year olds shirt than what is recommended

This kit was perfect for a project with my 8yo boy, 8yo girl, and 11yo girl! The colors are really trendy and not too feminine for a mixed group of kiddos. Plenty of gloves and rubber bands and extra dye made it a one-stop purchase for a full family craft project!

This is a great brand! Ive tried another, but definitely didnt have the same quality outcome. As I type, Im wearing an older tulip tie dyed shirt and it still looks good! Colors come out vibrant and stay that way! I highly suggest dampening the shirt first, soaks in the dye much better! Definitely recommend!
