Great for tye dying

Check box right away - my box contained a sealed, empty dye packet - I was shorted one packet of blue dye which was very inconvenient when trying to prepare tie dye for art camp! Otherwise a good product and good value for money.

A couple of packets werent sealed good. So big mess. Dye on everything in my package. Frustrating!!

Easy to use! Definitely best value:) Save on plastic by reusing original bottles.

Good option for me because I have done tie dye before, and I kept some extra bottles, so I can refill them instead of needing to buy an entire kit.

I purchased an original Tulip kit that comes with the bottles and everything. Other than the fact that it didn’t go very far, we were very happy with it. It’s easy to use, the colors look great. So we needing to order more colors in order to tie-dye everything that we had planned to do in the first place. So I ordered just the packets since we already had the bottles and the rubber bands. I wish I would have read other peoples reviews first, because one of the black packets was open and completely empty. The refills were sent in an Amazon plastic bag and the little box inside of the package was very damaged and when I opened the delivery bag black powder went absolutely everywhere. My hands were completely covered and stained and my counter is stained and I’m very unhappy about it. Not worth trying to return it or replace it, though. So I would say to anyone looking to buy this product, for the price it’s worth just buying an entire kit and not the refills.

While this is fantastic in theory and very cost effective, one of the blue packets was not sealed properly and blue powdered dye was inside the box, outside the box, on my hands, on my counter, on my clothes, pretty much EVERYWHERE. It was like herpes -- everything it touched became infected and it really spread around quickly. LOL. Im slightly peeved not only at the mess but that Im down one packet. Fix this problem, Tulip Tie Dye, and youve got yourself a winner! Otherwise, buyer beware and be prepared for a mess because other reviewers have also mentioned this happening (and blue seems to be the culprit).

great product easy to use and colors are bright

One of the packets of dye came damaged and spilled into the rest of my package so everything I bought was dyed orange. Other than that though, the product was great. Good bright colors.

This is regarding the refills kit. The product arrives with green dye from one of the packets having leaked out, all over the other products in the shipment. OK, fine. I clean it. I try to contact the store, but of course there is no contact info given. Only a return option, not worth it. So the day of our party arrives. Too bad I assumed the contents would be correct! No red. No pink. Lots of Vert-Jaune (Green-Yellow). Lots of Black. No Blue. Lots of Turqoise. Tons of colors were missing. So the kit was defective. And, again, I had no recourse. There is no way to contact the store. My recommendation is to order early, handle the box with gloves in a room with no moving air, and then take stock of the colors you were actually given... before relying on this company.
