25-11-2024Ive just recently gotten into tie dying. Its both harder than I anticipated to know what youre final product will look like, and, at the same time, it doesnt matter that much. It always looks interesting. I LOVE this green because I was looking for a forest-green color (which doesnt seem to exist), but I added a little black to this and got what I wanted. I did a hold-back leaf design over the green, and its awesome! I did something right!

25-11-2024All of the Tulip Dyes turn out as very pastel, nothing like the vibrant rich color you might be expecting. They are inexpensive, thus proving the adage that you get what you pay for -- but certainly this brand and the kits they sell are suitable for parties of young kids and introducing them to dying fabric.

> 3 dayI really wanted a more green color. If you don’t leave it on long enough or saturate certain areas enough, it turns out blue. I even looked up ways to darken the color (add salt, or vinegar to the mix ) prior to dying it and it still is more of a blue-ish green.(I added salt in hopes of a dark/vibrant green)

> 3 dayPerfect color! Packets say to add water and shake but the pouch did not dissolve fully and caused issues with application.

> 3 dayItem does not dye clothes properly. I tried to do it multiple times and even with soda ash and it washes off the first time. Do not buy.
