I used this with 26 students to tie dye some white shirts. I followed directions on the package and then soaked the shirts in vinegar for 30 minutes. The shirts turned out fantastic and we so vibrant….everyone commented on them!❤️

This dye was very vivid when mixed with cold water. It did take a little bit to get it dissolved. I found it best to add a little bit of water at a time. I was not too familiar with tye dyeing when I purchased this, so I had a little trouble initially getting it all out of the plastic bag and into the bottle. You really had to let some air into the bag and cut it pretty short. It was very water sensitive plastic. I made mickey head tye dye shirts that were purple and fuchsia with a black mickey head. I found one packet of dye was enough to do about 3 large adult t-shirts. (half the shirt was pink and part was black, so 1 packet of pink and one packet of fuchsia and half a packet of black made 3 shirts) Also, if you wanted pastel colors, you could mix with warm or hot water. Which I did initially not realizing my mistake.

Great Value, Teriffic Dye! Tulip is my favorite and by far the best, and easiest to use. Tulip dye packs are very heavily concentrated (be it these, or the starter packs with included bottles) I use a third to a half packet and sometimes refill the bottle with water once half gone and theres no difference in the deepness of the color so long as you leave it to soak for 12 hours. We typically just let it sit til the next day and then rinse. Tulip dies also rinse out very well in the first 3 washes, with no fading, and no bleeding to other garmets after the initial 3. These come in plastic bags, folded up, then wrapped & folded into a piece of foil paper, and taped in quantities of 3 inside the display card. Makes for easy storage, that Im confident to save left over open packages in.

love it! nice color. recommend to shake very well to break up the dye more for a more blended color.
