Fabric stays so soft, and it doesnt fade or chip with washing.

Did NOT end up soft - even after washed the paint was hard...

I’d give this closer to a 3.5, but not worth rounding up to a 4. This is overall a decent value, but there are definitely issues. For example, the yellow I received was nothing like the one advertised; mine was a very, very, very pale shade, like the batch was off in the amount of white pigment included and there was no QC to catch the issue. Additionally, there was a decent amount of fine glitter/mica shimmer present in most of these “matte” shades. Keep these things in mind when purchasing. If your needs aren’t super specific, you’ll likely be satisfied as the formula is well-pigmented (even if the shades themselves are a bit or very off) and quite easy to work with; I sometimes added a minuscule amount of water to aid in smooth delivery.

I was worried about using this paint for my first project with jeans, but it didnt disappoint at all. The paint is smooth and easy to spread, but please be aware and read the directions on the packaging and bottles. It says to apply 2 coats (Id recommend 3 just in case), which is really important for opaque designs. The planet at the bottom has only one coat for comparison, so it ended up more transparent. (Plus if theres any glitter in the photo, I added that.) Moneywise, Ive never used any other fabric paint so I cant say much. Because of the small sized bottles, if youre looking for more paint Id go to a hobby lobby or find anywhere with bigger bottles that might be on sale (and a different brand is always a choice.) All in all, Im glad I purchased these! Thank you!

These are pretty nice but awfully small- I find that they take a couple layers also but probably my second pick up all fabric pans so worth buying if you were just looking to try out some new hobbies.
