> 24 hourI’ve had the same totes lightweight auto open/close for years. With the CA weather—rain and wind every other week this winter the totes umbrella finally blew out. Took a lot of time looking at umbrellas on AMAZON and reading reviews and thank goodness I found this one. Very sturdy, beautiful and wind vents. Oh and lifetime warranty.

> 24 hourThe TUMELLA umbrella is definitely a better quality umbrella than many others, however, it is at a higher price point than comparable items. It is made of study fabric and seems to withstand breezes well, as expected, and is attractive, solid black on the outside and printed on the inside. It is comparable to a Totes umbrella, however they are not as expensive as this one. All of the features, the handle and the mechanism to expand the umbrella, are well-designed and work wonderfully. Having tried it on a breezy day, I cant say how it would hold up in strong winds.

> 24 hourI ordered this umbrella because I was excited about it being windproof. I took it with me to New York on a recent work trip when the weather was supposed to be rainy. Because of the two layers of fabric, I’d say this umbrella is about twice as bulky as a regular retractable umbrella. It does come with a sleeve with a drawstring which was waterproof enough to contain the water on the umbrella so I could put it in my bag without making a mess. It’s easy to unfurl and fold back up. However, it took one gust of New York wind to flip this guy inside out. The only saving grace is that it flipped back again and doesn’t appear to have any damage. So, even though I’d like to say it’s totally windproof, I can’t. And also, it held up 1000% better than any other umbrella I’ve flipped inside out in the wind. Overall, given its resilience even in the face of strong winds, I think it’s worth the heft from the extra layer of fabric.

> 24 hourSent a cheap navy blue umbrella that was plain and with the embellishment only on the sleeve it came in…

> 24 hourI took this to Japan with me and used it on rainy and sunny days. It definitely is worth the price of not having another broken umbrella

> 24 hourBeautiful, well made, there is a craft or pattern to close it very tightly against a surface , don’t try your belly, because it will not reopen half way , it must lock to reopen. This is for adults, not recommending for kids, unless you help them use it.
