> 24 hourThe TUMELLA umbrella is definitely a better quality umbrella than many others, however, it is at a higher price point than comparable items. It is made of study fabric and seems to withstand breezes well, as expected, and is attractive, solid black on the outside and printed on the inside. It is comparable to a Totes umbrella, however they are not as expensive as this one. All of the features, the handle and the mechanism to expand the umbrella, are well-designed and work wonderfully. Having tried it on a breezy day, I cant say how it would hold up in strong winds.

> 24 hourBeautiful, well made travel umbrella. The price was right and the quality is good. I needed to buy a couple of graduation presents for my neighbors kids who graduated this year. I thought this was a reasonably priced, but useful gift.

> 24 hourI was in need of a small umbrella so I thought I would give this one a whirl. I havent been able to use it in the rain, but I have looked at the quality and overall ease of use. I can say that it does seem well built and sturdy. When I pressed the button it shot up and opened immediately, which is great if you are in a downpour and need to use it quickly. I noticed the design of the earth and, although not necessary, does look kind of cool. My son liked it. The umbrella does feel like it would hold up in strong winds. My only issue was the size once I pressed the button to close it. It was a lot bulkier than when I first took it out of the package and did not fold back down to its original size, which was a bit disappointing. I cannot imagine what it would be like if it had water on it. Its just a lot bigger overall when closed compared to a lot of other umbrellas I have had. However, I do believe its because the material its made out of is probably better and thus leads to a bulkier umbrella upon closing. Im sure if I meticulously folded it back down I could get it smaller, but who has time to do that when its raining and youre trying to get into your car as fast as you can. Thats my only reason for not giving it 5 stars. If I use it in the rain and find its just so amazing that not folding down to be more compact isnt a huge deal, I will definitely update my review.

> 24 hourThis umbrella is very sturdy and I like the unique wind-proof design (invisible flaps). I love the beautiful design that is visible from the front when it is open and that its solid black when viewed from behind. The coating on the exterior surface keeps it from soaking up the rain. It opens and closes with a touch of the button. Opening is flawless, but clicking to close only closes the top portion and you have to push it back down into the handle. It takes a good bit of force to do that and I ended up putting the top end on the floor and pushing the handle into it rather than pulling the top end down. It is a little heavier than my other compact umbrellas, but in order to be as sturdy as it is I guess a little extra weight is required. Still, its a great looking umbrella and will come in handy on rainy and windy days.
