> 3 dayThe item is described accurately at 5-inch diameter, however, its debatable if its usable on a Sharp. Its insertable into the adapters of my Sharp portable air conditioner ( model CV-10MH ), but, its not an exact match. Its diameter is smaller and therefore would most likely come out unless it was taped at the connection. The measurements are as follows: OEM adapters internal diameter is 5 and 4/16th inch. OEM exhaust hose is 5 and 3/16th inch diameter. This exhaust hose diameter is as stated at 5 inch.

> 3 dayHad a floor model AC given to me. The intake/outtake hoses were rotted, and the OE tubes were around 50 a piece. (X2) These fit perfect, and was long enough to replace both hoses for a fifth of the cost. Just have to check if you need clockwise or counter clockwise .

> 3 dayI have a Sharp portable AC and this is a bit small but I made it work. You have to fiddle with lining up threads and making sure you cover the ends with more hose. You can also duck tape it to fit, but I havent yet. I rated it well because the replacement hose cost $80 and this was $13 and gets the job done. Maybe not quite as tough as the Sharp hose, but it is pretty good and worth it.

Greater than one weekI have an 2005 Sharp brand library quiet portable A/C unit and every year another ring or two from the hose was splitting off and I had to cut it with a wire cutter to remove it. It finally got to the point where it wouldnt reach my window. I was afraid I might need to purchase a new unit, but I was able to find this hose and get it installed before the heatwave so Im cool and happy.

09-06-2025much lower cost than OEM. will have to see how it holds up over time, but appears to be comparable to OEM in construction

> 3 dayThis product was a good value. It fit well and seems to tunnel all the heat from my airconditioner. This part seems to decline over tune and just crumble..literally. lol My old one that was on the airconditioner did just that. It did however last for like 15 years. If this exhaust pipe last 1/2 the time it will be well worth the money spent. Overall seems to be a good solid replacement exhaust hose. I would recommend it.
