Not any better than other flat models.

Having just moved outside a major metro area (about 20 miles) I found that my short range antenna I had been using in the city wasnt strong enough. While I was not expecting the full 250 mile range (my parents have a similar one and barely get 60 miles out of it) I thought Id get the basic broadcasting with this, given Im still quite close to major cities. The reception on this item was barely better than the cheap short range one I already have. Ive tried moving it all over - windows, not windows, long range setting, short range setting - nothing works well. Going to have to figure out how to return this and do some research on something more reliable.

I don’t usually write a lot of product reviews unless the product is way better than I expected. I bought a few antennas just to see, The MOHU Leaf which was over $50 & another Which was over $30 And this Antenna for less than $20 which gets way more channels and it’s better than anyone of them Hands down. Definitely worth it.

I bought 4 of these, based on the good reviews. Two of them work well. The other two have issues. One has too-short conductor (short strip length) at the F connector. So it does not connect to the female connector of the TV until it is tightened with a wrench. One has a loose connection inside the amplifier box. When it is moved, it (randomly) give poor or no signal to the TV. The boxes are already gone. Not worth my time/trouble to return. Got them to work, sort of. I might still have to replace two of these units with a different brand.

Exactly as expected

Scan shows channels I cannot get with current antenna. Well worth the price. I would purchase this again.

It seems to be a clearer, sharper, picture with this antenna compared to my old antenna.

Works great, picks up lots of channels.
