> 24 hourGreat quality lights that dont tangle easily. I folded back up the strands that are too long and tied them back with the twisty ties it came with. . . this gives the light a more asymmetrical look instead of an orderly look... more natural-looking. Tips: lay them on the floor the way youd like them before untying them, you cut only one of the ties, follow directions after hanging, re-adjust lights at night when you can better see where lights are shining use small, clear zip ties to hang use a timer - set time, plug lights, choose preferred mode for lights, next time timer turns back on, it will be on the last used mode I did not buy the lights with a remote because reviews say the light control needs to be visible for the remote to work . . . my power source is behind a curtain, so the remote wouldnt have worked. With the timer (I purchased separately), lights go on/off at the same time . . . easy peasey!

> 24 hourBought 3 light sets. One for a 6’9” W window and 2 for a 13’ W glass sliding patio door. This review, photos and videos that I’ve included are for my 6’9” W window only at this time. I may update it later for the glass patio sliding door. For the record, I have the wrong sheer curtains for this window to achieve the look I expected and what was promised. My sheers do not hang with pleats like the image of the product image. Instead they just feed through a rod bar and bunch up together. Perhaps if I added another panel to the rod bar I might be able to get more pleats but still not so well (but I’ll certainly add another panel (a 3rd) to this window later to see if I can get it closer. I do think to achieve this look, a traverse curtain rod with pleated sheer curtains is most necessary. Let’s begin: The hardest part of putting these lights up are untangling them and mounting them at a perfect spacing. I followed the instructions by first plugging them in (before detangling them and or removing any wire packaging) to ensure they all light up. The next step I took while they were plugged in was to detangle them without removing the string wire for each bundled string line. I laid them on the floor and just detangled the main line. See pic. Once they laid out detangled by the main line, I proceeded to hang them up with the lines still bundled up in tact. I’m lazy and did not want to measure between each string drop of lights to make my markings first. So instead, I grabbed the main line string, a hammer and nails and put up the first bundled notch with a nail in my wall just behind my rod so it’s hidden. Then I pulled the main line gently straight and inserted a nail in between the little notch in the main line at the next string and repeated these steps until the end of the main line string. That was the toughest part and I hated doing it but hoped it would be worth all the trouble. With a pleated sheer type curtain whether through a ring hole rod curtain or a pleated traverse, you are instructed to lay each string over and into each curtain pleat. I couldn’t do that cause I don’t have pleats. My sheers just gather some because I bought the wrong ones. The look after my work was still beautiful. And I’m happy with them. They shine bright. My two videos are of the Slo Glo mode and the sequence. I strongly suggest you follow the instructions as I did to at least detangle the main line first with the string lines still bundled up. My glass patio sliding door has a traverse rod curtain system and I’m waiting for my pleated sheers to come in. I’m hoping that I got it Wright and the look will be the desired look where I can install these the way the instructions state (lay each line in between pleats) and post an update with pics on the outcome. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays. Hope my review was helpful and if so please click “helpful” on my review. Regards and stay tuned.

> 24 hourIve had these lights for more than a year and a half! I always plug them in when the sun goes down but most of all Ive had absolutely no issues with them. Following instructions was quick and easy. Setting it up was not difficult but you may require help from a second person if possible. Highly recommend buying them if you are considering.

> 24 hourThese lights are great! They were the perfect width for my reading nook. However, the spacing between the strands is really wide. I ended up bending each strand up halfway and tying the end to the top to fill in the gap. They’re extremely long and I wasn’t putting them at the top of my wall so I had quite a bit of extra length at the bottom. If you need all the length and would like them to be more dense like I did, you may need to buy two strands to overlap them.

> 24 hourThe curtain lights are affordable and easy to use. Be sure to NOT cut any plastic bands before putting them up! I accidentally clipped a plastic band off, but it didnt seem to affect the use of it. The instructions are under the lights in the box, so be sure to read them first regarding the little plastic bands. The lights that hang down from the main line are all tied with a nice silver twist tie. Keep these if you dont want to unwind the lights all the way (esp if you end up having slack and dont want them touching the ground). The Amazon delivery driver literally THREW the lights I ordered onto my porch, so if you dont want to risk the lights getting damaged, I recommend having them delivered to an Amazon Locker or pick up location within a Whole Foods, if these options are available. The minus star is because of the driver throwing these, instead of putting the package on the ground like the other Amazon drivers and USPS.

> 24 hourThe brightness of these lights was amazing, I got the first set in November, and it absolutely lit up the dorm room so I instantly bought a second set. The connection from the lights to the power cord is at the top, so that multiple sets of lights can easily be connected, and there is a 9-foot-long connection cord that you use to plug one end of the lights into a wall outlet. The only issue I had with the set was that there isnt a simple on or off button, you have to cycle through all 8 modes every single time if you use the controller, so I had been simply unplugging them before bed, and plugging it in when it got dark the next day. However, after only six months, today when I went to plug in the lights they sparked like crazy, and didnt turn on. Upon closer inspection, I realized the wire had completely frayed and partially severed where it plugged into the wall. I would have blamed it on myself, had I not opened the second box to get the other plug (which had been used maybe 2-3 weeks before I connected the two strands) and it too was frayed. It had not severed yet so I wrapped it in electrical tape and it still works, but this seems to be a large flaw if they both become unusable after relatively little use.
