Im not sure how it works, but it does! We used them outdoors where food was being served. The reason I purchased them was because last time we ate outdoors, we spent more time swatting at flies. Not a fly in site of where these fans were spinning. If I had to put a con to this product, it would be that you do have to keep the area clear because the fans stop if they hit something. Overall great product and I would recommend and buy again!

All I can say is that Im so thankful for TikTok! This is just another amazing item that I had no idea existed before tiktok. These fans work perfectly for keeping flies and other bugs away from food. Must have when you are serving food outside!

Wish the battery life was longer or it was rechargable, BUT - oh wow does it help! We can have wine and cheese on the porch now. These are cute and QUIET. very soft no chance for injury at all. Already getting more - fun gift too!!

These 3 Fly Fans worked so well for my outdoor dinner party! They are so cute since they are mini Eiffel Towers. They do the trick And their propellers keep the bugs away! Definitely recommend!

Bought to keep flys away

I wish I knew these existed years ago! No more fighting with the flys outside. These fans look nice and they keep the flys away from food and drinks. Easy to set up and store when not using. The design is fun too!

I was surprised how well these fans actually worked. We hosted a party and put these out next to the food trays and wow...we were amazed! The flies were kept at bay by these fans. We definitely recommend these to anyone who likes to BBQ and has a big fly problem.

I brought these to our camping trip and they did not disappoint. I no longer have to stand right next to the food to make sure the flies don’t try to attack our food. It was definitely a good investment and I know I will be using them quite often.
