U-Haul Moving Box Paper Tape (Ideal for Moving, Packing, Storage Boxes) - Pack of 3 Rolls (30 Yard Rolls, 90 Yards Total) - Easily Tears by Hand

I was looking forward to using brown paper tape, but disappointed to find that these rolls did not fit onto my standard sized hand held dispenser roll. Its too hard to rip the pieces off so I have to cut each individually, so just overall not the easiest to use, for me personally.

I was satisfied with it

Was using Scotch, heavy duty, packing tape for boxes, but it did not adhere very well to the boxes and seem to tear easily. I worried that it wouldn’t hold up with heavy contents. Found this tape on Amazon, with high reviews, so I tried it. It is definitely adheres very well and is strong, much better for putting together and sealing moving boxes. I will use the clear tape for securing wrapping the contents.

Tape ends started coming loose from box after about a day, remaining tape loosened later. Retaped loose ends with longer pieces. Pressed all tape hard. Again the ends came loose . Next retaped every box with Scotch packaging tape that is holding. Returned UHaul tapes.

Like that it is not is a smooth stick

Sticks great! Durable for even moving in the rain!!!! I’m never moving again but if I did- I would get this again!

Adhesion

I like that it doesnt have to be pre-wet like commercial paper tape. Is stronger than clear packing tape, but less strong than the paper tape with reinforced strings. Orks well in tape gun. Perfect for reusing shipping boxes. It went quickly. Re-ording in greater quantity.

We used 20 rolls of this on a recent cross country move. This was pretty much the only taped that would stick to the boxes we bought at HD. I had no idea that you needed special tape for boxes made with recycled materials. We even tried some from the Quack Quack brand that was supposed to work...peeled right off. This didnt.
