Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 8, 8-Port Managed PoE+ Gigabit Switch with SFP, 150W (ES-8-150W),White

I’ve been working from home since 2018 and never got around to segmenting my home network. Finally got this switch to put all the devices in my office on separate VLANs to keep my work, IoT, and home devices away from each other.

Work great, use these with the nano stations to beam internet wherever I cant run cable. Incredible setup

Great dependable poe switches. I have quite a few of these in the field and Ive had no issues yet.

Works perfectly if you dont actually need an Enterprise switch. I use it to power a few AP for my office that has video conferencing, VPN data compiling coding, streaming movies, Gaming. never any errors in its log.

Great switch, does all that i want, just take backups regularly as this is a real switch that allows you to do what you want but thats always the right thing !

These switches run hot enough they can burn you. Becareful almost where you mount these and do not let anything else touch them. Easy Vlan setup. High speed, remote access, highly programmable.

What an incredible little switch! Ive been running one of the 24-port EdgeSwitch products for a few months now and I loved it. I needed a small PoE switch for a closet downstairs to run some IP Cameras which require PoE. My two main options were this or a Netgear ProSafe 8-port switch, also with 2 SFP ports. I decided to go with this switch, and I cannot complain at all! I had it up and operational within 5-8 minutes without any problem or hesitation! Ive had it going for just shy of 4 weeks now without a single issue. It stays pretty cool, even with 5 ports PoE going! My only gripe about this is that the interface can slow down pretty significantly sometimes, but it frankly doesnt matter when the hardware itself doesnt. I cannot recommend this hardware enough!

Cant go wrong with UBNT products..especially their Edge line. Im not a fan of their toughswitch line, as they get really hot and can fail. For the price, you cant beat this switch with Layer 3 capability and SFP ports.
