These devices are the best... you will require additional power blocks if you are not using a POE switch Use this power block to power the devices POE-48-24W-G. I made the mistake and bought the 24v 0.5A version, which does not power this device.

Use a thicker plastic zip tie to remove these things. There is nothing in the manual about how to remove these from the ceiling if you need to, and there is no tool provided. I found another comment on here that suggested the zip tie and that does indeed solve the only problem Ive found with this model, otherwise, they are fantastic!

Ubiquiti has taken the difficulty out of setting up perimeter wifi. Easy to setup and configure and their free tools allow statistical monitoring thats intuitive. Excellent product.

Im so impressed with the Ubiquiti hardware, and software that I couldnt recommend them enough. They really do what the other manufacturers do with a style that makes their gear a joy to work with.

This are the best access points period! With a cloud key these access points rock! Super fast speed able to support many clients. Does not include power injectors must have 48v switch or own injectors.
