Ubiquiti Networks POE-50-60W POE External Injector

As other reviews have pointed out, this is not a 60W injector. It is only capable of 802.3af (15W) Power over ethernet.

This will not give POE+ power, only POE. You CANNOT inject POE+, it must come from the PSE directly.

This POE injector worked well for my application. I needed a couple of POE injectors for outdoor security cameras and while I will eventually purchase a POE switch, I needed something quick at the moment. I use Ubiquiti POE injectors to power my Network Access Points so I chose these for the security cameras. They work well and I recommend them.

Does what i need it to do

My injector went out on my AirFiber 24 after about 3 years of service. This new injector is physically larger and appears to be of higher quality than the original.. Time will tell. until then this is a perfect replacement and works great.

Works as described. Beware you’ll likely need to update a switch setting to get full power. It’s likely not auto detect.

Reviews listed this as POE++, but its not. Its supposed to be 60W but will not even power my 30W camera. I sure it might work for some applications, but it does not supply the required power for me.

Good quality, works as expected. Surprisingly, there is no wall-mount option.
