We needed this for my mother-in-laws place outside and it works great. It covers about 300-400 with tree cover and small hills. I am sure it would go further if no obstructions. It also brings a strong signal into the family home next to her about 150 feet away (indoors). So I was very impressed. I mounted it about 15 high. If we could have gone higher, I would think the coverage could have been further given her terrain.

Works very well with all unifi products with mashing the systems together. Very easy set up and hang on the wall love the aluminium frame. Easy to assemble and disassemble for updates in resetting

Easy to install WiFi strong

Installed this product about 18 feet in the air and it has amazing speed its entire range.

I’m using this unit alongside a dream machine to provide Wi-Fi at a fairly large cabin in northern Michigan. It took quite a bit of work with technical support in order to get the system operational, this unit kept dropping off of the mesh net work. Using nothing but default settings it seem to work OK with a few tweaks. Significantly less than 600 feet of service from on top of a hill, I’m probably more like 200 to 250

This is the first time I had added a device to my existing UBNT network since all of the software upgrades. I simply plugged in to the switch using PoE, opened the app on my iPhone and the system immediately asked me if I wanted to adopt the new access point. Very well done and an amazing improvement from the old days of the hit0and-miss adoption routines. Well done Ubiquiti Networks! The outdoor coverage is amazing! Every bit of the coverage advertised.

I love this product long-range and Easy to install and setup

I had bought another one of these that has been working flawlessly for over a year. After only 2 months, this unit had a hardware failure with the 5GHZ radio. The radio would completely drop out when the temperature reached 22 degrees F. Then it would start working again when the sun hit the unit in the morning. Thinking, that a new product would be under warranty, I quickly found out that Ubiquiti will only warranty products purchased from authorized resellers or distributors. So be aware, that buying one of these on Amazon, you have no warranty whatsoever. Now I have a $275 brick- not happy.

I spent years trying to find the a good quality Mess Network. I tried Google, Netgear, Orbi and they are had issues with reliability. Hands down, Ubiquiti is simply the best.!!! Fast, reliable, easy to configure products. LOVE Ubiquiti

Ive used this access point for years at a camp facility. When I first installed it all it needed was an internet connection and some set up and we were up and running. Now a few years later all I want to do is CHANGE THE WIFI PASSWORD and I cannot communicate with the device. I guess now Ubiquiti requires you to have a closet full of special routers, gateways, and cloud control devices to even program your access point. Im so frustrated I want to throw all this Ubiquiti stuff out in the dumpster. What the heck Ubiquiti?? Way to support your original adopters. Your software cant find your controllers plugged into the network. If I cant see the controllers how do I configure them? At this point Im stuck renting a cherry-picker to get up to the transmitter so I can press a button to restore to factory default settings and try again. Likely this time Ill need to buy HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS of extra equipment just to get this thing to function again like it is now but with a new password. This is just stupid. So mad. Avoid this garbage.
