> 24 hourNot the greatest looking access points, but they work very well. Combined with the Ubiquiti Unifi SD-LAN you have a great combo.

> 24 hourThis requires secondary devices to setup. You cannot set it up with the mobile app, you cannot set it up with a browser. You MUST have a separate dedicated AP-pro to talk to them just to set it up.... The software is not user friendly (maybe it is if youve bought into all their other devices...) But I had a ubiquiti router and this product alone will cause me to not buy anything else from them... After 3 hours and finding other people who had the same issues, my trashcan wont be empty tonight..

> 24 hourI have 5 of these deployed over about a 20 acre property. Once you get them set up, the range is awesome and the UniFi mgt system is great. Once you get them set up. Because I am deploying remote units, I do the initial setup at the main router before I deploy them. This turns out to be tricky. Here is what I found works for both mesh and wired uplinks. 1) Open the box and connect the unit to your network via ethernet. UniFi will discover it and have you adopt it and upgrade the firmware. 2) Once the firmware update is done, do a factory reset (paperclip useful) on the unit so it forgets it had a wired up link 3) Unplug the unit and go back to the UniFi interface. Go to the device configuration and select Forget this device If you dont do that, UniFi puts you in a death loop of connecting and disconnecting endlessly after you have moved the unit to, say, the top of a water tank. Sigh. 4) Deploy the unit where you will (wired or wireless) and UniFi will rediscover it. Then you can adopt it into the network. Wireless adoption takes some time - like 5 minutes. Wired is faster. 5) Then make any other config changes you want If you skip the forget the device step, you will not be able to connect the device the network, nor do any configuration. Note that in order to get to the forget device menu item, the device needs to be unplugged from the network. If it is still in the death loop trying to connect, the forget device option is not available. This is not an unusual use model and Ubiquiti should make this much easier. I returned a unit before I figured this all out. I assumed because it wouldnt connect wired or wireless after a factory reset that it was broken.

> 24 hourMuch smaller than the previous outdoor access points yet so much faster. It comes with adapters to use the existing mounting hardware from older outdoor APs so its very easy to swap them out.

> 24 hourInstall was easy. Had an issue with interference and the strength was compromised. Rebuild network and signal is great now.

> 24 hourIt is not the the international version. The information should state what version it is and not ship US versions to international destinations. The AP works, but through meshing which halves the speed. Shows the message This device is country or territory locked. Your current country or territory is not supported.. I couldnt return as we cant get any UAP-AC-M stock in South Africa at the moment, so we still need to use it. Will have to buy another one once SA gets stock again.

> 24 hourI installed ubiquity products in my house a few years ago. With additional outdoor living and Wi-Fi security devices at the perimeter of the house I needed to extend coverage. Yes, it is inexpensive to get a Wi-Fi booster but that requires a separate network. Not a big deal but not ideal. Having extended coverage, in a water resistant manageable device at price lower than most APs is a smart choice. Solid product. I recommend.
