Just what I needed for modem to router connection

The connectors work fine with Cat 6 house wiring. Purchased for travel with a USB C ethernet adapter. Not for Cat 8 but for the braided cable. Pleased with the quality of the cable and connectors. Only 4 stars because I cant rate Cat 8 usefulness. I have several products from UGREEN and would recommend.

I had an issue with a cheaper ethernet cable that somehow got bent in a weird way. Something must have pulled on it, and it would only work intermittently. I replaced it with this, and it is working great. I cant test at 40Gbps, but it works fine at gigabit speed even if its a bit overkill.

Previous review was great, but after a few months of use the cables start to not work. Cables have been in same position and no movement in any way, and just one went dead. Very dissatisfied. Will not order this brand again.

Awful cables. Bought these to replace some nice Cat6 cables, thinking I’d future-proof my network. They caused a hum in my audio system that I spent all day trying to figure out. I didn’t think these could possibly have been the cause, but after trying everything, including replacing my interconnects, I started pulling these out one by one. Every single one (6 total) caused a hum, they are all total junk.

I attached this to my network and the internet seemed way slower than it had been. I removed it and replaced it with an old cat 6 cable and it doubled the speed. So I dont know what the issue is- maybe it isnt really cat 8. That is why I rated it low-I am not sure about what the deal is but i just learned a lesson.

Edit: after a few tests of the cable they seem to be performing accurately. I’d recommend for the price

Cable workers perfect but if you travel with it and need to fold and work several times then it’s bit uncomfortable because it’s not so flexible.
